Does anyone have any rough summaries/translations of what the video makes out?
Keep an eye on his equipment when he opens up the screen. There were 3 different sets, mostly weapon choices, and 3 different sets of nukes, with Ice Brand being the last nuking set. Best of luck.
Not worth it for RDM... I'd say.
It depends on the content, but with 40-50%TA you would want a ton of stp on your gear and low delay weapons. A 6-7 hit build (not a true one) at 80 delay or lower means you get 1k TP before you're even out of the last WS animation (every 1.4-4sec depending on TA/DA/QA proc). A higher ws frequency pays out better than anything those swords could offer (atleast if your ws actually do dmg). just adding in my old very chaotic testing
![]() the number at the left was distance to mob since i was using o-sash. decided to just not use O-sash later spicychai said: » Does anyone have any rough summaries/translations of what the video makes out? The second half is showboating in dynamis divergence. This is a blu thread like above shows for nuking it's incredable blu or rdm. For nuking(magic burst specifically), 1st best off hand/mainhand for blue, 2nd best off hand in the game to wizards rod, nothing else even comes close. For free nuke single wielding, bunzi wont beat it till r20+ and that's more depends on the mobs your nuking against, considering your always dual wielding on blu and rarely magic bursting, in a sortie style situation. This would be the better option. off handing for ws damage. I would assume same applies to blue and red for this. Ice brand Obliterates tp bonus off hand's dmg at just 1500 tp. With thibiron off hand i'll 76k savage blade on helms, at 1200-1500 tp. With icebrand off hand at 1500-1700 i'll savage blade/black halo for 95000-99k. typically your wsing around 1200 tp anyway from multihits on rdm, unsure about blu as my blu is never buffed. so it's just 1 more attack round. and the dmg u gain from it end ends up making the tp spent -> damage in ice brands favor. Flametongue will do more dps though in ws terms though, and wizards rod will do more dps for magic bursting though for blu I wouldn't get wizards rod. When u compare expiation which has a 30%int modifier, as well as the special mythic wsd modifiers ice brand should be miles ahead, but I have no plans to make a tizona currently so I can't test that.

Expiacion also has a STR mod and it's physical so the PDL when attack capped will make Flametongue preform better than Ice brand. That being said when acc isn't an issue, which it shouldn't be for a capable BLU, TP bonus off hand out preforms both of them. If they give us another next year (hope they let us get 1 each year from now...) then Icebrand would be way up there for me. Doubt I would ever bother with shield anymore and I don't regret taking horns the first time.
Thanks for the numbers.
If I get another chance I am picking fire brand. Looks great for WAR and RDM as well. I am kind of tired of the Magian Sword. Numbers on the Sim for FB look nice. It's a big if though, not sure if we'll get another kupon next year lmao. I had to pick the shield this time around, damn shame more jobs aren't on it. I think they'll reserve the upgraded versions for bonanza wins and will deal out free vouchers for the basic ones each year simply because it's a steady inventory -1 and because it probably pumped up their subscriber numbers quite a bit.
