Easiest DPS To Gear For Mule

Im wondering what the easiest job to level for a mule for DPS is. I don't really have access to a group for aeonic/prime. So looking for alternatives

If you have access to unlock your own Sakpata gear, Warrior is an easy one to get up to a usable level. The character has to be at least 45 days old though.

WAR, without a doubt

Just outta curiosity, why raise a DPS mule when you can raise a support mule? COR or GEO can be very useful as a mule with very little gear requirements.

But yes, for raising a DPS mule, it would be war.

War absolutely is easiest due to Sakpata and Nyame (ws set).

Which is kinda funny, because pre-Ody gear war was kinda annoying to gear.

Ambuscade spam with same account, doing minor battle for daily rewards, maybe doing missions, etc.

I personally had this project before, just sent my valorous / ody augmented gear, made a naegling and walmart WAR done.

Definitely WAR but you'll need Chango and Loxotic Mace+1, and Shining One depending on the other DD for Sortie

My main has cor pretty decked out already . Going through the last mission cycle and sometimes i dont want to drag 2 characters out to fight stuff because mule only has whm

Ya know. WAR is the mostly correct answer. To get into something as a dd, that's the answer.

However, you could do BST instead, get zero gear and just put a jug on whatever you need to kill.

Of course you can always get 5/5 gleti and the sword, exactly the same effort as war, but have the pet

Bst+pet does less dps than a cor or a brd.

War is not only easier, it is also a stupid high dps DD with how little gear it needs.

Not solo. Pet will have whatever needs killing dead before a war even calls a rdm trust.

And even if you incorrectly disagree, stronger isn't the question. Easier, is. Nothing is easier than getting zero armor and buying a jug.

And in that case, BST is pretty crazy. Idk why he took that stance, but /shrug.

Would also say if we're going off the idea that we're getting Odyssey base set/R1 sets, then SAM's also pretty easy to build to be decent. Like, sure, it'll take a little more work because you'd still wanna unlock Fudo but like... You're still unlock other stuff for your WAR too anyway, unless you just don't care and are fine with Naegling only Savage Blade or something.

Jinpu is right there, and really easy to kick damage up on, and the Gekkei is better than people give it credit for. Mpaca's also actually caps haste without belt or accessory slot, unlike Sakpata's. While Sakpata's has all the MEVA and DT you want, it's a rather low accuracy set even relative to Ambu+2 armor (when at base), doesn't cap Haste without belt slot(and technically needs a belt with +10 haste), and doesn't benefit from PDL unless you're getting max buffs.

But like, what are we raising this mule for? What's the end goal? Is it to just crank out some extra Omen/Ody A/B a day, or is it not truly a mule and actually a dual box? Are you gonna full gear it eventually or are you just wanting it to feel decent at 99 and reserving it mostly for Trove?

Like what's your goal(and your means for gearing it), because I think that changes the answer slightly.

Cause like, let's say your goal is to get into endgame stuff or something just to play something different. Well you'd wanna go all out gearing it then, right? And then let's say you aren't a man of means and don't have any LS or friends to just bum *** Bumba/Kalunga/Mboze/Ngai rq. That probably leaves you with doing Ambu or advancing storylines until you can do Sortie solo for +2/3 Empy. In which case, though, I think the answer is still WAR or SAM, as their Empyrean sets are straight forward and very good for each of them, with SAM's having a little more meaning for it, since a lot of its TP sets don't get decent MEVA.

Question was basically just for missions. Don't really need any empy for that, just whatever is easiest to get.

vyru raises some good points that I was also going to ask, what's the purpose of you leveling this mule?

the mules I've taken the time to level I make thieves, so I can pick boxes in oddy to farm scales/hides so I can save my tags on my main for segs.

Daviant said they don't have access to a group, so those suggesting oddy gear really didn't read the memo. That being said, af/relic and empy gear will be quite restricted, so ambuscade gear and maybe unity gear are probably the "best" you can do with just trusts and no group.

With all of that in mind, really any dps should be comparable.(when not having decked out gear). Anything that can use kaja sword will have an edge of course, (remember, no aeonic group, so likely not a consistent way to get a pulse). Dragoon will be a more defensive option with the pet, monk, also can be pretty solid, drk, dnc, bst, sam all have potential as well. Dnc probably being one of the "harder" ones to master from a gameplay stance, but it has a higher skill ceiling and has a lot of utility. warrior is obviously good, (one of my mains) but I don't like to tell people it's the "Best" option available. And again, more importantly, what is the purpose of leveling this mule?

He also said he can dual box with mule, so can get it access to Ody gear.

Just curious, what would be the updated recommendations with a free Bonanza Weapon, a Drastic Axe WAR with no Berserk def down or a Diamond Aspis WAR spamming Savage Blade with Naegling?

Am considering a DD build for a dual box mule while the main get some mastery points on Tank or Mage jobs. So it will be targeting apex or locus mobs.
