So I owe Dab something, obviously, just dunno what makes up for missing the title. :/

Same as Michelob and Enochroot here, I didn't even register on day 0. First time I ever registered my total was several days in. I ended up in the first 10 on the final list. Two characters, and they were indeed right next to each other on the final list in the order I registered their scores.
I did register fairly early on the final day, don't have it logged but it was in the first couple hours after the day reset at 8am PST (I had logged out the previous night with all my items ready to trade for the final day's VBDs, so it didn't take me long). I think that was shortly before Enoch's reported time, and IIRC I was also a little higher on the list than Enoch.

Two of my chars were right next to each other as well but the third ended up much higher on the list (registered that third one maybe 30 minutes after the other two).

I got this;
1) Wait until I mention new objectives being slammed in the DATs (I'm checking monthly for it, if they change it's probably a strong indicator there's an upcoming 'Bout) which I'll post here and on my site.
2) Go farm all of the stuff that can be farmed for those objectives, enough for 2 go arounds of each objective.
3) Send them to Dab.
Conscience cleared until you find out they aren't a fan of you clogging their inbox with a ton of (normally) useless crap. ;D
This post is not serious at all, apart from like, 1, I am checking monthly for objectives. Hopefully SE don't play 4D chess and change them just to *** with me.

I checked just by curiosity the other day to see if one day I will even bother with this senseless work. After I saw the whole 100+ at 1400, I will just never bother, period. Just to make the 1st tranche, I would have to call out from work, and I ain’t doing that.This is just ducking stupid from SE the entire thing. Some folks can just never even try, and some cannot succeed base on nothing they did wrong. This is not a NM that you can pop 3x a day, it’s a 3x a year event that take full dedication for 2+ weeks, can’t miss a day, got to be home for those 2 hour the event is on…
Now to the folks from phoenix, just send Dab a Yagudo drink.

They adjusted it so you can miss a day and double up the next day, but you do have to be logged on for day 0.
So, I don't think there needs to be a new thread. That was the point of not calling this "the fourth bout" etc.
Everything is basically locked in, as it were. The objectives may change slightly but by and large you can assume they're going to be more or less the same.
Do (element) damage.
Do a skillchain and/or burst.
Live through a buscade.
Cure and/or Raise someone.
Do one of the five minor bcnm/orb fights. (use bsts/pups for automatic wins)
Fish and/or craft.
Run the bird.
Not expecting anything radically different. The event is the same, the rewards are the same, no point in much discussion really.
The sortie crates are not special in any way. Still random. Segment campaign is still spectacularly mediocre. We will certainly hit the 150% goals. Blah blah blah.
I think we all know the deal by now. And as much fun as it was to shit on the first 3, I expect all the fun has been sucked out of it going forward.
Everything is pretty well explained.

(VB) Are Totals for the whole event
It's all simple shit, Win an Ambuscade. Don't die in ambuscade. Do obscure minigame. Pet/poke/etc your rearing monster. Chocobo dig. Fish.
Don't forget to wake up early and do Day Zero Dailies.
