Whats the max Treasure Hunter one can get i have looked online and it seem to be a cap in place for this?

Skulker's Poulaines +3
then pull the full zone just to cleave mobs lol just to find out it no longer works like that.

Ok, so couple things, have you done vagary before, that's required to unlock upgrading each of the 5 main pieces on armor. the individual "mini" fights count for unlocks as well
the TH cap is as follows- first hit irrelevant of TH+ gear(if over +8) will grant a thief TH8, all other jobs can open at TH 4, except for ranger which can start at 6. only thief and ranger can upgrade treasure hunter on mobs though, I don't believe ranger can upgrade as much though. The max TH is 14, but gear can far exceed that, and the sweet spot for gear is a topic of much debate, with people having differing opinions on what works best.

It's normally 14, but can proc up to 21 during the full moon if you attack from a cardinal direction corresponding to the monster's elemental weakness.
This is new information so might not be on the wiki yet, but it was confirmed by GM Dave.
