Low dmg Helix set for sortie
hello!
i can't find a set for low helix dmg anywhere >: can someone share their set? i have no clue if a 1dmg weapon is all you need Add Ninurta Sash for haste and subtle blow in addition to some Pinga +1 to get recast down with minimal damage increase. If you're using no weapon, this set will do next to no damage. You should be closing all skillchains with helices.
ahhh low damage helix for closing skillchains, I had no idea where you were going with that at first lol. Because well... a low damage helix would just be wearing no gear at all lol
You can go empty on the weapon and gear the rest for subtle blow and fast cast (since it's likely that helices are involved). This is my set but I don't remember if it actually caps recast. Or subtle blow for that matter lol.
sets.buff['Immanence'] = {main=empty, sub="Chanter's Shield",ammo="Sapience Orb", head="Lenore's Hairpin",neck="Bathy Choker +1",ear1="Assuage Earring",ear2="Digni. Earring", body="Zendik Robe",hands="Arbatel Bracers +3",ring1="Chirich Ring +1",ring2="Chirich Ring +1", back=gear.lugh_fc,waist="Ninurta's Sash",legs="Kaykaus Tights +1",feet="Peda. Loafers +3"} If you're helixing for skillchains, you want the recast nice and low. A stun set should work just fine for t1 helix spells. Can make a set for helix2 spells to use a real nuke set.
remove items from this set that aren't helping hit haste cap or boost Fast Cast. ItemSet 332148 I can optimize it if you have a list of gear available to you. I will focus on subtle blow and recast like mentioned and then minimize damage if that's your goal.
I'm just wondering why you want a low damage helix set.
Bismarck.Yvan said: » I'm just wondering why you want a low damage helix set. So it doesn't contribute to nerfing the following nukes Also a 0 damage nuke/helix set for 6 steping on Bumba/Aminon for 0 TP feed and 0 damage Nocto/LuminoHelix 2 on B/F boss first SC.
Found Acerbic Sash +1 + Andvaranauts to be much better at forcing 0 damage nukes and helixs. I wouldn't bother with a mode swap between helix for dmg & helix to not dmg.
once you get access to helix2, just make your gearswap or sets tell the difference between t1 & 2 helix spells. obviously you could do better than me w/ t1 helix spells if you feel the need. doesn't monk's roll cap subtle blow on its own or does the roll count as SB2? Code sets.midcast.Helix = sets.midcast.FastRecast sets.midcast['Pyrohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Cryohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Anemohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Geohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Ionohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Hydrohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Luminohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {main="Daybreak",sub="Ammurapi Shield",waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) sets.midcast['Noctohelix II'] = set_combine(sets.midcast['Elemental Magic'], {ring1="Archon Ring",waist="Skrymir Cord +1"}) edit: tried thinking up a set w/ cap subtle blow & haste. don't think it's cap recast but should be enough for skillchain spam. ItemSet 395205 Is there a reason to be concerned with SB helixes in sortie? I thought the only restraint would be the damage on B-G bosses. It's nice for Aita and Aminon, otherwise inconsequential. You also probably have Monk's Roll for both of those things so gearing for it doesn't necessarily matter. I think low/0 dmg is more valuable overall
I mean, you still want to avoid any extra tp moves, cause why not. It's costing you nothing as you're purposely avoiding dealing damage.
And aminon, of course I use this for B/F Bosses (I think it's why you are asking)
Nothing fancy and super lazy putting w/e I had together while doing ~10dmg helix and no recast issues. Code main="Malignance Pole", sub="Khonsu", ammo="Sapience Orb", head={ name="Blistering Sallet +1", augments={'Path: A',}}, body="Vrikodara Jupon", hands={ name="Gazu Bracelets +1", augments={'Path: A',}}, legs="Doyen Pants", feet="Regal Pumps +1", neck="Voltsurge Torque", waist={ name="Shinjutsu-no-Obi +1", augments={'Path: A',}}, left_ear="Magnetic Earring", right_ear="Loquac. ItemSet 395205 Realized for one that non-helix spells would still be equipping a normal nuke set, so thought to just link it to the buff, at least with sel's that keeps you from nuking in a normal nuke set regardless of what you use to make skillchains with. (just don't include impact in your skillchain since this would unequip that body) I thought to fill all the accessories after haste+25 with FC but realized my HP/MP took a MASSIVE dive. all the ones listed are things I already own and generally keep on me except the staff, that usually stays in a slip. wouldn't mind bringing it out for FC though for just SCH skillchains. set shown below at keeps my HP about normal vs my PDT set and MP-80 my idle set. so not likely to lose anything midcast. Anyone know if this will do 0dmg to bosses or too much int/mdmg? mACC+7 int+29 mDMG+5 in the set. sets.buff['Immanence'] = { ItemSet 395503 sub=empty, head=empty, body=empty, legs=empty, feet=empty } Here's my set, room for improvement. I wouldn't go naked in visible slots unless no other option, subtle blow works well in case you do do some damage.

fire for 10. ionohellix for 35. GDI!!! swapping ring+1 for nq. that'll at least help with the t1. dropped star sibyl and fire does 0, ionohelix does 7 still. guess i'm going to have to find something with MP+ other than mephitas. after ring swap, ionohelix still deals 5 to CoD N. I can swap food from Bowl Of Oden to Tropical Crepe. hands are too important to recast to try to push it further. is it worth getting gear specifically for this? probably not for CoD at least. if it were worth inv- to help force 0dmg, maybe something like this would do... ItemSet 398060 You want to floor your INT for 0 damage against targets where it maters. Set below works perfectly for Bumba and B/F boss. Also included my Vagary varation for 5k nukes.

Single volley with +33 INT (48-15) on Bumbav25. My base SCH INT at ML 42 in Goal, 134 INT. I did not test with a Oden+1 or INT potion which would be another +13.
![]() Love to see it, even in testing Bumba picks absorb darkness. no SV INT etudes or Bolster INT?
doesn't seem like a worthwhile test if your kaustra will do 15dmg/tick I could never get my helicies to consistently do 0, which is why I opted for subtle blow personally.
You right forgot to consider the extra INT from a bolstered bubble. The test I did accounted for the extra +48 INT from SV etude.
I think I get what you're saying, I need to include all variables in a typical Bumbav25 attempt like malaise and even gambit and rayke. still, burn, impact, SV etude, bolster int/mab/mdb-, tearing gust maybe: all great at ensuring you will be hard pressed to avoid dealing some damage. Chimerawizard said: » gambit/rayke should probably go at the end of the skillchain, so those likely don't apply. still, burn, impact, SV etude, bolster int/mab/mdb-, tearing gust maybe: all great at ensuring you will be hard pressed to avoid dealing some damage. have to put one up at the start so that you have time to get 3 runes up for the other before skillchain lands. |
