My Thfs pp is big but not big like a Drk or a War but my wife says its just right...

conventional wisdom says *** no, But I do know a guy who cleared all the v20 fights taking a thf in on every one of them so ymmv

How does Run DD compare tho?

Much smaller pp than THF DD.

The deeper I get into endgame content, the more clear it becomes that every job has its uses, provided:
A, everyone is equipped well enough for the task at hand,
B, the party knows how to account for one another's strengths and weaknesses,
C, everyone understands how to play their job well, especially in the environment at hand.

I think Thief just gets a (relatively) bad reputation because it's an extremely common job for people to have leveled, and yet only a handful of those take it seriously. You get all these people who got power leveled to Master Level 50 Thief and don't know how it works beyond Sneak Attack.

I play every job, thf is by far my favorite, no contest. But it has some issues for "endgame" depending on how you define endgame...

1. TP feed.
Many strats for odyssey NMs (and similar) involve limiting TP feed using mewing...thf is a massively huge tp feeding monster if you're doing it right.

2. Lack of STR/ATK
You're way, way farther from attack cap in anything vs your average mnk/war/Sam. I can hit 99k on some pretty impressive endgame NMs (omen bosses...), but those same ws's can go sub 30k or even sub 20k to vengeance or w3 dyna bosses, much to my embarrassment.

3. It's pretty selfish
You gotta build a party around a working dd thf. War, dark, Sam mnk they are all selfish that way, but if you aren't throwing serious numbers every time you're a waste of a slot to all the work your buffers are doing. My dd thf can embarass most other dds in random events, but compared against my real peers at real events it falls on its face most times.
