Title is pretty stupid, sorry.
I have a pair of Armada Sollerets i'd like to augment with Call beast delay -10.
I know absolutely nothing about synergy so i don't know how much would that cost me.
I have the feeling the process is not going to be easy tho lol.
Please send /tell or pm if you can do it
Thanks

You're gonna need a lot of Earthen Tatters, I used over 200 Earthen Tatter to try to get good DA and STP augment on my Armada Hauberk and didn't get what I wanted.

A few years ago, I went and synergized this piece for Call Beast -10 and got it within 10 tatters. (I remember synergizing and buying ~200 tatters and made it very quickly. It was actually kind of underwhelming).

But do keep in mind that you put a toggle in your Lua. You'll want to choose using Call Beast with either Call Beast-10 OR Gleti's Feet for Pet: Level +1. (I don't think Call Beast-10 has any effect on Bestial Loyalty, but 10-seconds of a 15-minute recast is no big deal).

This is how you know people are getting bored. You start swapping gear into your sets that you don't really need or get any value from.

Do you even toggle bro?

Afaik every item with "Pet level +X" is applied when equipped.
As such you don't need to precast any JA with it. If it's currently equipped on the master, the pet will benefit from the related bonuses, that's it.

It's really not any different from an item that gives "Pet: STR+10", same logic.

On the contrary!
I have the freedom to concentrate on the class i like the most and I'm enjoying it ALOT.
And that's the opposite of getting bored for me, it gives me purpose.

Yep, unfortunately is not like ankusa's gloves.

to explain further you're going to need several abjurations to turn into tatters, doesn't have to be feet only, any earthen will do.

then the pool of augments can be found here:
tatter and scrap synergy

call beast delay is one of the 4 common augments but is not the guaranteed hq synergy augment, so it will likely take many tries to both hq the synergy and see the correct augment. or you could get lucky and get it in a few tries, who knows.

personally i just went with skirmish acro feet and -5 delay.

Thats actually a good idea.
I have no idea why i've never considered the feet but just the body piece.
I'll definitely go for them.

it is my understanding that you can use gleti's boots during pet midcast to receive the pet level +1 stats for a ready move.

pretty sure this isn't quite true, from what i recall playing with SMN pet level is only calculated every regen/refresh tick(every 3 seconds) so it's much more complicated to have it only active on a ready move

it is true you don't need it for call beast, though

Got -9 on first attempt.
And then spent 98 more attempts to get the -10.
Never happened.
I would have been happy with anything over -5, -9 came as a sweet surprise.
Ill try again when ill have 1 hour to go through 99 tatters

I was mostly referring to the suggestion that + pet level does anything for Call Beast.

My prediction:

You will make these boots.
You will add them to your toggles.
Your Call Beast timer will be shorter.
You will be feeling yourself.
Your pet will die.
If anyone is around to see it, you will blame packet loss.
You will look up at your Call Beast timer.
You will check your toggles.
You will look at your Call Beast timer again.
You will say "Man, *** these boots".
You will drop the boots.

Seriously though, I see where you're coming from. You want to gear out and that's most of the game for people anymore. Just be aware that guides often populate sets with gear because it's the only option available in that slot. They're not always meaningful.

Wait seriously? ...I guess I need to check do /checkparam and Call Beat with/without gleti's boots.

That's seriously annoying if that's how summoned pet level works :(

Pet level + is applied while you are wearing the gear.

Call Beast + is applied on activation.
