A Desperate Plea For Fimbulvetr Testing

I don't think anyone has a stage 4 helheim on my backwater server yet, so I'm launching a desperate plea for anyone else to post some numbers we can work with, or convince someone who has one to do some testing.

What is needed: Get naked with just helheim, tell us your base stats, and give us damage numbers for 3k tp fimbulvetrs vs wild rabbits right outside sandy in west ronfaure. 10+ samples at least would be nice

Do the same thing but with fotia neck/belt on.

If you can, do the same thing as the first step receiving stat specific buffs from brd/geo/whm for each stat at a time (Include the amount of the boost). No more than 2 samples needed for anything that isn't STR or VIT, for STR and VIT try to give at least 5.

Please (Help me out!)

I'm a few weeks away from stage 4 still (we dont go every day and we've farmed every gali towards prime with 3 + trust) but i'll happily test as soon as I have it. I can also burn a sortie run with stage 3 next time we aren't going to run

I sort of wish I'd have stuck it out with Fimbulvetr. . . but I swapped to the Scythe. I still use Fimbulvetr every other day in Sortie but only on Gartell.

My group actually has 2 GSwords, one of whom has offered to do some testing tonight. Either he'll post here or I can copy/paste for you.

Ok unless I'm doing this wrong looks like ftp is a little over 9.5 ~(9.4-9.8), I don't think I can get much on the WSC values here cause 1, by doing it naked I think you didn't cap fSTR but its fine, that's my fault, and 2, +24 isn't much and the variance on the STR boosted values is really low.

Anyone care to check my work?

Edit: I tossed the outlier assuming its against a forest rabbit instead of wild rabbit or something like that

Edit again: I think I actually did do it wrong, and am now getting 9.75-9.8 ftp

Yea so I can't do math, the full range of possibilities from that data is like 7.54-14.3 ftp, but it looks like 9.5+ish... probably

Are folks till testing on Wild Rabbit in E/W Ronfaure for base numbers; no buffs, no gear, only thing equipped is weapon.

No I realized we weren't capped fSTR for that. Still the rabbits but wear some stuff without pdl/wsdmg that gives you at least like an extra 50 str.

Again, someone please check my math but based on those latest numbers, the absolute lowest I'm calculating ftp could be at 3k is 10.25.

But I think there's something going on like unaccounted for wsdmg or pdl cause the numbers don't work out at all or I'm still making a mess of the math. Also the STR and VIT numbers as they are, say that STR and VIT cannot be the same % WSC (The high mark for VIT testing is more than 5% above the low mark for STR).

The reason I wonder: With 0 gear aside R15 Cala, 0 buffs and 3k TP, Torcleaver is ~27k Drk/Sam. No Hasso and only the Str/Vit on R15 Cala. Mithra Race.

If the numbers posted by Maletaru posted are Rank 4 Helheim. That puts R4 Helheim and R15 Cala rather close with aftermaths. But, R5 Helheim would be a slight improvement. As a Dark main I am still a fan of the combination of DPS and utility Foenaria has to offer.

I accounted for gifts, not sure if some of his stats was coming from sakpata or something like that tho.

So the WSC numbers are in the 50-60 range, but Inukichan's data shows that VIT must have a higher WSC than STR, so tentatively I'll say its looking like 50 str 60 vit

I'm pretty much sold on taking this over GA tho so I'll pick mine up tonight and will probably do alot of testing tomorrow.

Ok then, something seems up with my math but I think 10.25 ftp and 50str/60vit fits pretty well.

Ok so I figured out something I was doing wrong with the math and did some of my own testing.

War/nin M50, 350 str, 352 vit

3k tp:
Minimum: 34170 <- Maximum minimum
Maximum: 35772
35772/1.05 = 34068 <- Minimum minimum
ratio: 1.04688

3k tp + fotia x2:
Minimum: 34783 <- Maximum minimum
Maximum: 36464
36464/1.05 = 34727 <- Minimum minimum
ratio: 1.048298

Then we have (weapon dmg + fSTR + WSC)(ftp)(wsdmg)(pdl)(smite)(pDif) = damage

If we substract the minimum minimum value from 3k from the maximum minimum for 3k fotia, and the maximum minimum from 3k from the minimum minimum for 3k fotia, we get the 2 extreme values that bound all possible values above and below

the equation becomes:
weapon damage = 318
fSTR = 43
ftp + 0.2 - ftp = 0.2
wsdmg = 1.03 (war gifts)
pdl = 1.1 (aftermath)
smite = 1.2
pDif = 3.95
(318 + 43 + WSC) (0.2) (1.03) (1.1) (1.2) (3.95) = delta(damage)

lower bound we get (361+WSC)(1.074084) = 557
WSC = 157

upper bound we get (361+WSC)(1.074084) = 716
WSC = 305

The maximum value works out to an average WSC% between STR and VIT of 43%, with an ftp of 9.52-9.55

The minimum value works out to an average WSC% of 22%, with an ftp of 12.24-12.28

I haven't tested the other stats yet to see if we're missing something like a third INT or MND modifier, and the data we got earlier from inukichan/nsfw showed that the VIT modifier was higher than the STR modifier. (VIT high value exceeded STR low value by more than 5% when comparing +64 STR and +64 VIT).

I'll do some more testing when I can bug people to give me proper stat buffs and will test the other stats, but for the moment this looks like about 40 str 50 vit and 9.5 ftp?

Again sorry for my bad math and bouncing all over the place here but if someone can check my work please do, also I know I didn't use the exact values for smite and the presumably the pdl aftermath.

Can't someone just write an excel spreadsheet where you drop in the data points and computes it for you lol?

you can, but it won't be correct. the only number that matters would be the minimum possible value, and if you have that then you don't need excel to find the answer.

Ok did stat testing myself and found STR and VIT distributions to be identical, thanks to vaerix for helping

I also redid the math with exact values and it works out almost perfectly to 50str 50vit and 9.5 ftp
