Sortie 2 Key Item Is Fucked

i don't know whats going on the past 3 weeks but i dont seem to get the second ki to consume, something broke in the patch's or something? it keeps resetting to timers i have never done a 2 sortie run in the past weeks and it still says i have consumed 2 everytime wtf is wrong with the game

Ruspix plate, it seems

I recently used a ruspix plate within the last two weeks to recharge the entry KI. This might be a bug that you were unfortunate in experience. What it may be related to I have no clue. Maybe if you report it, SE will eventually address it for you?

I used a Ruspix Plate yesterday. Perhaps you are misconstruing the message when you enter Sortie which alerts you to how much time was added to your Ruspix Plate.

Easiest way to think of it, the shard tells you that the glass is half full, gob tells you that the glass is half empty.

I don't understand how they came up with the system because it is so nonintuitive. They got people making the big bucks sitting around a table and all of them decide on the stupidest system possible.

I finally figured it out through trial and error because I didn't want to attempt to figure out their skewball system.

The key is to talk to the goblin and find out if you have a ruspix plate available. If so, use the normal plate and immediately after that sortie run say "yes" I'd like a ruspix plate, and then use that one.

The key was actually to listen to the goblin. Most people skip over the explanation so they're thrown off by the system thinking it'll be intuitive.


Instead of adding a portion of unused time to the Ruspix plate, they should have just given it a separate weekly cooldown. Give everyone an extra run each week to offset gaps in playtime. Either way, it was a bad idea to allow players to overwrite their shiny plate with Ruspix's plate.

It's really not complicated.

If you have a shiny plate (or could get one if you went to Kamihr Drifts) you will start accumulating time at 20% rate (1 minute for every 5 minutes RL time), up to 20 hours (a full plate).

If at any time your time accumulated >= the cooldown on your shiny plate, you talk to the goblin and ask about Ruspix plate, he will give you a shiny plate.

That's it, that's the entire system.

Honestly I like a lot how it works. So many times I haven't been able to join an Ody group because my moglophone was not ready for another 40-90 minutes, or we had to skip a run entirely because the entire group went too late the day before and nobody could go at a time compatible to real life stuff. The ruspix plate solves the issue entirely, and gives an amount of flexibility that really suits me and the people I play with.
