Videos Or Writeups?

Most videos don't actually do this though, they just have taru or mithra with poor camera angles and a "vanilla" display doing the lowest intensity job for the group. All the "real" work is doing by other people off camera loaded to the gils with tools.

There's plenty of creators I don't care for and can't really sit through their videos but that's ok those ones aren't for me.

When I do find someone who at least sometimes makes videos I find useful I will subscribe to them, especially if they are still under 1k subs as that's the minimum for monetization. I want to encourage content I use and it costs me nothing.

Write ups done well can be great but its not always as easy to find ways to clearly support people when they do a really good job.

That's true. A good video is rare.

Everyone's totally free to produce videos in whatever format or capacity they want, and viewers are free to have their opinions as well. There's a reason people like MrBeast methodically study/edit his videos to keep people engaged/entertained etc, because those things matter. We're all inundated with videos from literally anyone with a computer making content, from incredibly mediocre to absolutely amazing. It's on the creators to create in a way that keeps people coming back if that's their goal. Ironically when retention is the main goal is usually when these weird things that people don't like run rampant in the content.

I doubt anyone is going on people's pages and ripping their videos to shreds because they aren't up to their liking - it just result in closing the video and moving on. I don't think it's all that deep, it just sounds worse in a discussion where everyone is airing out their full feelings honestly.

This was all just a ruse to have someone say "I read Hustler for the articles, not for the visual parts"

When I was 13 my friend down the street had several different kinds of porno mags, and there was this Hustler issue.

All I really remember about it was the first few scenes featured this rocking hot blonde doing it with a guy, and they both still had socks and shoes on.

I kept that same Hustler until I was 17 or so, when I threw it away cause I was wrestling with the shame of watching porn or whatever and growing up Christian and all that.

If you are going to go the video route you might want to make them multi-parted in 30 second or less segments for the tiktok generation. They may not have to attention span for anything longer.

It's a 20+ year old game on an almost 20 year old forum for a game - most people here are middle aged. Does everyone even know what TikTok is?
