PacketFlow - For Ashita and Windower
Sir this is a Wendy's
![]() Okay so o just got a new pc, under the Windower Plugin section somehow i made PacketFlow show up as an option to turn off/on. I don’t recall how I did this. Does anyone know how I make it shows up under there?
the hidden addons/plugins show up when you enter the konami code.
That’s right! How do I do that again? I totally forgot. I recall the code making me giggle. What was the code as well?
Nvm found it!
![]() Thinking about giving this a shot. Curious, is there any known instances of characters being banned for this plugin/addon?
Not to my knowledge. By default, packetflow is only active in instances, so most of the time it will actually have no effect.
I personally suspect the same restraints that leave SE unable to address the core problem also leave them unable to analyze who is using this. If they had the resources, I would hope they would fix the problem instead of spending them figuring out who to ban for using a crutch to hobble around it, but ultimately any 3P usage is a ban risk. I've been running it everywhere (outside of normal parameters as mentioned by Byrth above) since 2023 as a multi-boxer. No warnings or bans, but I'm also not an idiot in how I play (I also don't care if I do get banned as it'll just be another hobby I sunset and move on from). Take from that what you will. But have you noticed a significant difference since running it everywhere? (outside the instance boundary) You should use the tool where you need it, don't start using it everywhere like a pleb. If that becomes normalized for enough people like that, the server engineers that track data use may actually point it out as an issue.
Using this is like walking around with no pants on, it's ok around the house but if you suddenly think you can do that everywhere you're gonna start some trouble. If enabled, it drastically reduces load times when zoning. Incredibly noticeable especially if you have multiple wardrobes. Honestly its in my top 3 all time best QOL improvements to the game.
While enabled what zones does this run in by default? I know Byrth said instances but I am not entirely sure what falls under that umbrella and just want to make sure I know exactly when it's running
Here is the list of all the zones:
Code Ilrusi Atoll Periqia The Ashu Talif Lebros Cavern Mamool Ja Training Grounds Leujaoam Sanctum Zhayolm Remnants Arrapago Remnants Bhaflau Remnants Nyzul Isle Everbloom Hollow Ruhotz Silvermines Ghoyu's Reverie Outer Ra'Kaznar [U2] Maquette Abdhaljs-LegionA Outer Ra'Kaznar [U3] Throne Room [V] Rala Waterways [U] Yorcia Weald [U] Cirdas Caverns [U] Outer Ra'Kaznar [U1] Gwora - Corridor Walk of Echoes [P2] Maquette Abdhaljs-LegionB Reisenjima Henge Dynamis - San d'Oria [D] Dynamis - Bastok [D] Dynamis - Windurst [D] Dynamis - Jeuno [D] Walk of Echoes [P1] You can make it work everywhere by changing the config.xml in packetflow's plugin folder, it's a simple true/false operator. Change it to false and it will work everywhere.
