1 year ago i did all 6 /blm with no sword (used staff and didnt melee) and most of the time i took 0 dmg per fight because of recasting stoneskin before it wore off.

solo fenrir naked and then ill be impressed (no way that can be done because of resists though)

Also, you guys should take it all a bit more lightheartedly. Not everything has to be a groundbreaking achievement to be interesting or fun. I did the battles as both a self-imposed challenge and for personal enjoyment, and made the videos for the enjoyment of others :)

Yes, even though I'm not a manthra.

Also, I wanted to push the limits of what RDM/NIN could achieve, not in the direction of the best gear and equipment possible, but in the direction of pure skill. Only the Joyeuse is remotely difficult to obtain, so anyone, with the right skills, can do this. I know there are many rdms out there itching to try, but intimidated by (and inspired by) the likes of Avesta and others. Here, there is no language barrier, and by examining the order of actions in any of the battles, a RDM can learn the skills of /NIN and try things like this on their own.

And while I know even more difficult things can be soloed naked, don't kid yourself, this was no cakewalk, since many of the beneficial enfeebles are blocked for use during each fight, and with no armor on, they hit pretty darn hard.

i disagree

with shadows phalanx stoneskin and 2 swords this fight is easy no matter what gear you are using

hell even without the swords its still easy enough

in a few months when you are soloing other stuff you will understand this, i think every good rdm goes through an avatar soloing stage
