Anyone get a Venus for trading in a Mars?
Wonder if it's possible. did the emergency manteinance fix the EP loss for death in Aman Trove, perchance?
They added a Mlevel down font too, maybe that was last month though.
Maybe "Belligerent Bang" means a loud thud chest is on the field? After I opened the loud thud, I did not receive that message again. The loud thud was not adjacent to any others I opened previously.

But even if you don't have Loud Thud already and you are not getting Bang msg, you still can get Loud Thud from Rainbow if you open 8. Seeing Rawhide triggers me.
I’ve gotten loud thuds without the bang message. Shichishito said: » how do ppl sell orbs? if you invite buyers and take them in you risk them disbanding and opening mid chest? if you fill inventory 80/80 so drops stay in loot pool you're under time pressure and risk losing full pool if you overlook time. can you even use /yell within the exit zone? so ideally you'll want to run 1 multibox for this? If you are the one paying for the orb then generally you start the pt, not the other way around. 1) the buyer invite the seller. 2) the seller use the orb to enter. 3) the buyer enters too, D2 the seller then disband the party. 4) buyer opens the chest as the only person in the pt. That being said, 3) shouldn't be a requirement most of the time. There is rarely any seller who would risk the rep and do a *** move like that. Rips said: » Seeing Rawhide triggers me. I have never had a buyer D2 me, and there was also a chance that one of the chests rewards 5,000,000G to the orb user, and the buyer never sees this loot even if they are the only person in the bc. Even though the buyer shouldn't care about getting the seller an extra 5m, the seller usually just drops party and can stay in zone and still get the reward (I think). That is, if the 5m gil reward wasn't removed recently. RadialArcana said: » Sylph.Funkworkz said: » Maybe "Belligerent Bang" means a loud thud chest is on the field? Maybe you was opening so fast that Bang from previous chests poped after you clicked next chest that was loud? Even Today I got 5M on a char that was in 3man party and 2 chars in the zone. Can also confirm this isn't the case. 5 of us in party, 3 of us in the bcnm. I popped the chest and got the bonus.
Doesn’t matter for party size in regards to the 5M.
i think warp II is party only so you could avoid it by dropping party. iirc there is also a command to block warp II but not sure.
bottom line it's a trust based interaction under time pressure with risks involved unless you multibox to hold drops in pool and advertise drops in yell, then it's just trust based for the buyer. i've seen ppl drop party to open BCNM chests back when ppl didn't have a army of mules/alts. today it's not uncommon to server hop for shopping, why not change name in the process? trusting ppl wouldn't do it today cause they fear to lose reputation seems pretty naive. last prices i can remember were 3mil for mars, 5mil for venus. don't know if they went down but i guess they'll go up now with new items in pool? SimonSes said: » SE can't balance this around people having 16 x 99 chars, because then regular person with 1 x 99 would not see any good item in years. In before "Everyone multiboxes these days it's the single boxers who aren't normal now" Though I will say as a single boxer it does feel like everyone else has a phalanx of mules to buff them with 3000 ACC and 6000 ATT nowadays. Reality is someone selling orbs isn't going to trash their rep over one mystery orb in all likelihood. Just make sure you don't give them an opportunity to rip off pool after something fancy is in it, anything else is overthinking it, the world isn't out to get you on every minor transaction.

Belligerent by definition is aggressive or hostile, so I'd me more inclined to think that message is in regards to the mimic... I think people are mad dynamis shards are dropping because they paid like 50m for THF hands or whatever rather than farming them and now they're going to drop to a more reasonable price that the filthy plebes can afford. That and Dynamis is about to stop being the cash cow it's been in the past.

After the cutscene with Rahal, I didn't do anything special but I managed to get the key item within three or four pickaxes. There probably isn't any sort of special requirement. On this topic, full inventory trick doesn't work on this unfortunately :( Dropping party is an act of courtesy, but that doesn't stop the seller from being a jerk and opening the boxes for himself. D2 is a reasonable option, but it is a verbal agreement and I am sure GMs might take action if you deliberately try to rip someone off by agreeing to a gil arrangement and then reneging on the offer.
As far as I know, the command to block d2 is /blockaid, but that shouldn't actually work if you're in the same party, since /blockaid is supposed to stop outside party members from using abilities/spells on you, and D2 is party only. Just respect the boy scout's honor system and warp out immediately after zoning in or after you see the result. Got Ashera Harness in Gold Chest, no Rainbow one. Another run got a PLD Hand Shard in Rainbow one. What does it mean the belligerent sound? Or have someone you trust stand in the lobby just to ensure warp shenanigans cant happen. Only the person with the orb has to enter the BCNM.
Do you mean the possibility of the seller casting warp2 on the buyer? If so, I have never seen anybody be that shady of a measly Mars/Venus orb. Unless I'm not following what you mean by warp shenanigans. Thought you were talking about the buyer uses warp on seller after he enters, so the seller can't reneg
