Anyone else d/cing periodically?

This last week we've noticed people in our shell d/cing periodically in sync with each other, usually never fully d/cing (all under different accounts/isp). It seems to be mostly affecting people in the U.S. but I'm just curious to see if other people on different servers/countries are being affected by it as well.
I'm in NYC on spectrum and just today I keep dcing constantly, I thought it was just my internet because its been weird since I got back from abroad. Just happening now/today though so might be some temp issues with SE server.

Asura here. We're in NC and on Spectrum. We've noticed it around the same time each day that it happens. We have 4 characters between us and it's never all 4. One might fully d/c, but usually not.

Yeah, I thought it was just me. I'm in Denver on Comcast and several of my characters hit periodic R0 and had a few D/Cs but it seems to have cleared up over the last hour or so
Starting this afternoon I haven't been able to get in-game at all.
getting dc this past week
it's SE - imo -not your internet other programs running with no interruptions Ragnarok.Hulkamania

When I use my VPN to the Tokyo server, it eliminates a lot of issues in this regard.
Bismarck.Oldelf said: » getting dc this past week it's SE - imo -not your internet other programs running with no interruptions Probably not SE and more likely to be one of the nodes before you get to the servers. Generally other programs will work fine as they probably aren't going the same route to SE's servers. If a node or part of the cable goes down it can cause all sorts of interruption for stuff that needs a stable connection that you won't see when just browsing or streaming. Offline
Also on Spectrum, fixed the issue by changing the DNS on my router from Spectrum to Cloudflare
Rural Lane county, Oregon on CenturyLink. Been super laggy and random R0 for about a week.
My issues stopped, not sure what it was
I've been having this issue all weekend. Periodic R0s across all five characters with some going full d/c. I'm also on Spectrum. The issue is only impacting XI; everything else is working fine.

Happened to us again about 10 minutes ago. 2 partial dc and one all the way.
Been having the same issue, also on Spectrum. I have some friends in game that are having R0s on Xfinity/Comcast as well. I'm not sure if it's connected but apparently FFXIV's EU data centers have been dealing with DDoS attacks.

Xfinity in Denver- some work was done on the lines a few weeks ago and since then I've been victim to not just losing ffxi, but connection at least once a day.
Around 6:30pm est till about 7 I had periodic R0s about every 5~10 seconds. Made working BST leveling a major pain. It cleared up after that though, thank Altana.
Definitely think it's something on SE's end. Nothing else stuttered or lagged. I play with Youtube running. Valefor.Furyspawn said: » Been having the same issue, also on Spectrum. Unlikely because the FF11 servers are all based in Japan. I suggest Spectrum users to run a traceroute to help see where the packets may be dropping. You can then open a ticket with your ISP for them to investigate the traceroute and then hopefully try to optimize a better or more reliable peer. In Windows search, type CMD, open the Command Prompt from the search result. Type 'tracert -d ffxi00.pol.com' and press enter. Highlight the results using right click, then left click once to copy into notepad, you can then paste the results using quotes on code on the forum. There was an issue last week where one of our LS members lost internet for 2 days. They said work was being done on a major part of our infrastructure in Texas.
Here's where it gets weird. Ever since that day that he lost internet, I've had absolutely no lag at all. 0 input lag and I've been used to playing with input lag so long that it felt strange for everything to be so instant. Since then, many of our LS members have been encountering periodic R0s. We had something happen like this a few months ago and it severely hurt our Ody progress, but it was a different subset of people in the US. Seems like certain hubs in US are failing or being worked on, causing issues or alleviating them depending on your route to SE servers Last time this happened, our members who were having issues ended up using a VPN to some eastern country in order to solve the issue. This lines up with what some have said above, but I thought I'd paint a picture for ya. Most likely related; I can attest that my odyssey groups have encountered unusually high lag over the last week in our segment farming runs. I've even noticed it, and that's rare for me. Normally the only place I ever notice lag is in dynamis, but some of the lag spikes I've seen farming segments were just as bad as the dynamis zones. One of our party members disconnected twice in the same farm run yesterday as well. Something definitely feels off.
I'm fairly confident that connection issues in Odyssey is cause of them reusing older server space for the instances.
Though recently I've been getting extreme lag spikes in Omen that I can't explain beyond living in the US, it being a Sunday evening, and Ajit Pai is still alive and not having been replaced. I'm on ATT. Damn. I thought the issue had resolved itself but it has crept back up today.
