Triple Attack Gear Vs Relic Reforged +3 |

Triple attack gear vs relic reforged +3
What's the approach TP sets regarding the subject? You get substantial attack bonuses using +3 but miss out on the triple attack. For example +6 triple attack with herculean boots vs attack from +3.

Relic feet also have +5 triple attack in addition to 11% more triple attack damage and a ton of attack. There's really no contest. I even have QA on my herc boots and I still use relic.
Edit: yeah thought this was asking about thf feet. Woops. Most sets ive been seeing favors kick attacks, leaving stp on the upper half (mostly malignance).
So, artifact feet normally. Whoops thought this was thf, sec
Relic doesn't have a place in monk tp, AF+3 does if your set is kickcentric I'm speaking about for monks specifically. Relic reforged +3 for monk does not have triple attack.

Attack on your tp set typically isn't priority. relic legs again make it into the kickcentric set. Depends what you're fighting, how you're fighting it. Full ken is your base set, full malig if theres danger, kick stuff if you're serious about mnk having all the situational best. Herc is the poor mans (lazy)piece. Simple numbers herc has more TA it's better. If that's the only consideration. But ken has crit and acc and meva etcetc Lakshmi.Buukki

There's way too much overthinking these kinds of "this or that" topics. Kendatsuba/+1 has significantly more evasion and magic evasion, have a huge critical hit rate boost (which benefits impetus a lot) and a ton of TA. Herculean and relic/artifact are basically minor tp increases, but damage on monk is hardly ever going to be your problem. If all you ever care about is damage, the choice is simple, but it's never ONLY about damage.
I've said it before, when in doubt between two close pieces of gear, go with the one with the higher defensive stats. That will aid your overall damage much more than any attack on a single piece would. For MNK, ive been checking BG community guide, what i think is maintained by Spicyryan? https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Community_Monk_Guide Monk community guide only has the glasscannon build and no reasoning/explanation as to when/why
You really don't see (m)any wearing the full kick+Adhemar set Pantafernando said: » Fenrir.Bluewinde said: » Pantafernando said: » Most sets ive been seeing favors kick attacks, leaving stp on the upper half (mostly malignance). He's probably offended someone suggested that cluster of sets is his.
people who lowman and want to make impact mostly use malignance
people who want to be a dps bot for their 18 man dyna group and blame their healers every time they die use glass cannon build Offline

Malignance has one downside, SB. So mix in 2 pieces of Kenda+1 for lowman.
Master needs 15 SB1 to cap. Offline

I use:
Kendatsuba head Kendatsuba/Bhikku body Malignance hands Kendatsuba legs Malignance feet as my regular TP set pretty much since Malignance came out (well I got 4/5 Malignance in first 2 days and feet much much later, so for a while I was using Kenda feet and Malignance legs instead) I have toggle for max TP set, but I haven't used it in several months. Pretty much what I use. I have a max DPS set, but it almost never gets used. You just take too much of a beating wearing it. I use my hybrid sets almost 90% of the time on all my DD jobs. |
