I didn't know there was a promo site for FFXI after I saw today's announcement of the new dvd pack so I click on it out of curiosity.

I noticed the "Playstion 2" trademark logo and "Online" Trademark logo were not on the game's promo site.

I'm assuming this site is only promoting the new collection and since it's not releasing for ps2, they wont include the sony/PS2 logo

I'm impressed with the site. If I were a new gamer I'd buy it again just from the advertising. I hope this brings causal players back in large numbers.

There's a difference between : not promoting PS2 version and killing PS2 support... It's not like any new add on will be released on X360/PC only, there will always be a way to get them for PS2. (well no more new add on anyway :x)

Killing PS2 support would be : we release a new expansion which will only be accessible to PC/X360 users. Not the case. Will never be.
