New impeachment scam thread. Nice people only.
Yes that premise has been debunked many times. We have a treaty with Ukraine that trump was enforcing by looking
into biden, who is on tape bragging about his corruption. He cannot brake campaign finance laws by enforcing an international treaty. Your premise is absurd. Specifically tho, I meant what crimes have been alleged in the past week of hearings. Nausi said: » Yes that premise has been debunked many times. Approximately zero times would be way more accurate. There is no treaty that allows a President to withhold military aid in exchange for an investigation into a political opponent. I mean, the GOP isn't even trying to make that bogus argument. He cannot brake campaign finance laws by enforcing an international treaty. Your premise is absurd. Specifically tho, I meant what crimes have been alleged in the past week of hearings. Nothing has been debunked. Trump requested an investigation into a political rival. Any treaty with the Ukraine does not override the law posted above. It has nothing to do with the US and Ukraine sharing information to assist each other with a criminal investigation. It is about Trump withholding congressional approved aid to the Ukraine until they gave him dirt on a political rival. That is really it in a nutshell. If a treaty held any weight in this impeachment inquiry, then the GOP would be latching onto that as a defense, but they aren't. Even they aren't that stupid. Nausi said: » Also what law was broken? Well that depends on what the definition of "law" and "broken" is. These proceedings are stupid and sparked by one side's inability to accept a loss for President, and that it's "fixes" like the Russian Hoax, aren't kicking out the President.
What, Mueller Report didn't fix this? Ok, lets make up bogus charges to impeach him, and keep moving the goal post! It's now Bribery! YES! THAT WILL KICK HIM OUT! BRIBERY! What's hilarious is that the Dems were focus-grouping names of crimes that resonated most with the public. That's why we're now on "bribery" as the newest goalpost.
Wait, was he seriously posting an ABC News poll as "evidence of a crime"?

I hope you don't think that the Dems will hold the House forever, because this is all going to boomerang hard. Yea, it's boomeranging back on the GOP right now. It's great. You guys just raised the bar significantly, above and beyond anything the GOP ever tried. Yuk it up for now, your day is coming. You think they are whiny *** now wait till the Republicans control the House and Senate. Bahamut.Ravael said: » Wait, was he seriously posting an ABC News poll as "evidence of a crime"? All polls are legally binding according to this statement I just made up. Mostly this is a distraction from the alleged Epstien suicide that took place.
Bahamut.Ravael said: » What's hilarious is that the Dems were focus-grouping names of crimes that resonated most with the public. That's why we're now on "bribery" as the newest goalpost. It's still the same crime. And the best thing is, at no point in this investigation have the Dems "moved the goalposts." Trump withheld military aid in exchange for an investigation into his political opponent. That's been the focus since Day 1. The only thing that changes on a daily basis is what new spin the GOP tries to make up just to be dismissed. Clearly, you got your schooling from Democrat Politicians. Good job. They give you an A. Don't stray and always vote for what Democratic Leadership wants, like Impeachment! Don't like little things like Justice and Due Process impede your vote. ORANGE MAN BAD!

Bahamut.Ravael said: » Wait, was he seriously posting an ABC News poll as "evidence of a crime"? Nope, just a public opinion poll. Evidence is something that is presented in a court or hearing, not on a message board silly. This has nothing to do with a treaty, even the GOP aren't trying this tactic because they know how badly it will fail. How quickly things change. No way in hell does Warren or Sanders win moderates. Mayor Pete maybe but even thats reaching.
Oh yeah dems turn on their own pretty quick. Left attacks Obama for to far left comment Trump wins another term while dems implode. Obama was their posted boy and messiah. I never thought I'd see this. Odin.Slore said: » How quickly things change. No way in hell does Warren or Sanders win moderates. Mayor Pete maybe but even thats reaching. No matter how many times he tries, there is no international treaty that allows withholding military aid to force an investigation into a political opponent. Its is getting pretty amusing tho how often nausi tries to play this card. Its never going to work. Ragnarok.Ozment said: » Odin.Slore said: » How quickly things change. How does this relate to the impeachment inquiry? The Senators Warren and Sanders would be involved in the Impeachment Vote in the Senate, so it relates! XD That is true. Senators cannot campaign during the impeachment trial. But we all know itll never get to that.
Got a news flash from twitter that they’re gonna investigate if Trump ever knew about wikileaks. So you should take that as a sign that this current line of *** ain’t working. There hasn't been any of that fabled exculpatory evidence brought forward, so there is no reason to believe its not going to the Senate. Trump is going to be impeached.

XD Well, that isn't quite relating to the impeachment inquiry. I would just hate to see Nausi get upset that his thread gets pulled because the it is really just another RP&R under the guise of a different title. I think maybe he meant Burnie won't get to campaign much anyways since he will lose nomination again? Least that is what I understood. Ehhh, rethinking it, I see what you mean, BUT yah, it will go to Senate. Don't see any concrete proof damning the President either, outside butt hurt feelings. Exculpatory evidence isn't needed if your case is 100% hearsay. Impeach all you want, this is super dead on the Senate based on the merits of the case alone. Too bad we know the military aid was withheld, and we know Trump was demanding investigations into his political opponent. So much for "hearsay." |
