Eli and I both agree that Shozo is guilty. Nobody is going to post any evidence that hints at the exploit until it's confirmed that SE hasn't done something stupid like restoring Aurix without fixing it.

If you want to assume the two people confirmed to know what it is are both wrong and your buddy quit the exact same day bans were going out, that's your perogative. But, maybe you should consider that we know something you don't.

Nah, I respect Rooks and the mods for allowing us to have this, and I will continue to respect the choices made by them, and between me and some others because that is who I am. More information can be brought to light after all is said and done. I have so many PM's and sources that I have no need to lie. Any information I have with held so far is out of my respect to be honest with those peoples I agreed to do what I did.

Also the names of people that spread this like wildfire are all over my inbox. The people who knew about this had very good reason not to spread, but a mistake was made on my part and another and there is nothing I can do about that except say my bad.

Why? This is the first thing in literally months that's been remotely interesting. I have a feeling this guy is either bullshitting really hard, or hiding something that will take more than an hour and a half of emergency maintenance to really fix.

'packets' isn't any form of meaningful information, every exploit in the game can be called packets, if you were dedicated enough you could play the game entirely using only packets with no visible UI.. they're just the way the client talks with the server

if you don't want to believe he was banned, that's entirely your decision and nobody can force you to change your mind, but all the same it would be irresponsible to give out any information until a fix is confirmed as the current state is just a countermeasure and SE doesn't have the best track record for competency

Why would I show you evidence of someone exploiting before the exploit is fixed? The information regarding it has already spread way too much.

But the negative impact isn't really something that affects most people, just the vocal minority that chooses to look at it and say it's bad. That, to me at least, doesn't really seem like a strong argument to keep the results of it quiet when they have been made public in multiple places more than once over the past year and a half.

Because making a debatable claim without evidence is going to bring about doubt. "Because I said so" has never been a valid source of evidence anywhere, ever. Until these screenshots are leaked, all you're doing is name shaming people that are potentially completely unrelated to the overall issue.

at first you pleaded the reason you blew the whistle was to bring attention to the exploit and put pressure on SE to fix it. the biggest pressure you could possibly put on them to get it fixed for good is releasing the exploit. since aurix is on vacation and SE is alerted the perfect moment to release it would be now.

stop attempting to phrase it as if your intentions were noble, the only one you are fooling is yourself.

ppl knew stuff has been going on and folks called it on the forums despite not know exactly what it was, the signs are often obvious. the only difference now is that one of the RMT brotherhood snitched (who could see that one coming...) on the rest of the gang. now ppl can point fingers and you can't pull your bum out of the mesh just by denying anymore.
