Yet another example of how the FFXI population has aged like a fine wine. I'm seriously loving how we can have this level of fun, and the characters at the center of it can appreciate the funny without taking it personal. Another Bravo from me at least.

It is a matter of competence more than time. The actual repair to the issue takes minutes. One competent person could likely make a script to analyze their logs automatically in an hour or two. If they do it by hand, it will be a lot of work, but by gms or similar staff not coders.

If they are completely terrible at their jobs, a lot of this could change.

It's not nearly as complex to fix as you're thinking. If they go through logs by hand then it might take them a while to deal with people, but that's about it.
