Multi boxing help
Hello there is some information i cannot seem to find I’m looking to come back to ffxiv and wanting to 5-6 box. I don’t mind doing the missions but alt tabbing that many chars is a bit of a hassle while doing CS for mission is there a command or a plugin that solves or helps with this? Any information making multi boxing easier will help me a ton.
i meant ffxi i apologize
Enternity addon will "spam" enter during cutscenes, just stopping with there is green letter text and options to choose.

Superwarp is a much more powerful version of homepoints that has a built in multibox feature that lets you send all characters to the destination you want. Use the RoE plugin to set profiles for tasks and quickly clear out tasks from your list. RoE plugin? also is there a way to make chars engage without alt tabbing?

Ashita has a neat feature i dont know if also implemented on windower, using /attack [t] with a main char allow you char to attack the targeted mob from main without the need of /assist or anything else Fastfollow can sometimes bug the *** out and send one of your characters to the middle of the next zone while zoning. Happens a lot to me when zoning into rala waterways, one of them will be teleported to some random location.

However, I'm having issues with spells when I have it loaded. My gearswap stops reading spell casting correctly. For instance on rune it causes my lua to equip my tanking set too soon. So my enhancing magic is casted in tanking gear as opposed to enhancing magic set. Any idea why this might be happening?
I think this was a problem Pergatory spoke about a while ago.
Something to do with the wait time in precast/midcast is too short. might have to try extend it so it actually casts the spell in the gear. This issue was talked about the lag in Dynamis. Hopefully someone can shed more light. A friend messaged me in game, I believe it had something to do with the delay at line 60 of the lua. I changed it and my spells are working again. Line 60 sets the delay to 0.1 changing it to 0. fixed the issue for me. All credit to my friend, I'm not tech savy lol.
Hmmm, in order to have the Pauseon <spells> function work correctly for me I have to do the following in order to avoid it messing up my mains GS'
Edit line 60 to 0 //lua l Fastfollow on Main Edit line 60 to 0.5 //lua l fastfollow on Alt This causes my alt to stop and cast without interfering with my GS on my main. I'm sure there is an easier way to fix this from interfering with GS. If someone has any ideas im all ears. Thank you! Honestly, you're just going to have to just trial and error stuff until you find the methods that best suit you. It can be a long process, but it's nice when you get a handle on things.
Edit: most of the addons above do help, but they all have their own quirks. Or you can just turn off pauseon spells and it works without having to edit the file every time you want to use it The pause on spells for your alt is pretty clutch. The last thing I want to see is a lullaby being interrupted because my alt was still moving.
Personally I just decided to remove the delay entirely. So long as I stop on my main as I hit my send macro my alt will stop and cast even if he’s not right next to me, then he’ll come the rest of the way.

Thanks ^^ I'll admit I haven't looked at the addons settings in Windower for awhile, generally launching from a profile and getting addons straight from Github.
github is my go-to source as well but there :P easy to miss among all the other things that are pretty useless in there.

Use the RoE plugin to set profiles for tasks and quickly clear out tasks from your list. Does super warp automatically select the same destination that the main selects? Does it work with survival guides/geo-points/ floor changing/unity warps/voidwatch warps etc? It'd be nice if it worked for coalition assignments and/or assault selections and similar actions also... I tried searching high and low for a DL link for it, anyone have that handy also by chance? If you use:
//hp Mhaura It will only teleport 1 character. If you use: //hp a Mhaura it will teleport all instances of windower which is near a Home point. It works with Survival Guides, Abyssea confluxes, Escha warps from what I have used. Maybe works with UNM stuff idk. //hp = homepoint //ew = eschan warp. - also can be used to enter an eschan area using: //ew enter //sg = survival guides //ab = abyssea Asura.Shiraj said: » If you use: //hp Mhaura It will only teleport 1 character. Kinda makes it slow, wish it would just select wherever the main decides to go. Thanks for the info, do you have a DL link by chance? You can use a macro if you use the same area/warp a lot, sure.
Gimme sec. will edit a DL link. https://github.com/baharms/superwarp Asura.Shiraj said: » You can use a macro if you use the same area/warp a lot, sure. In a six person pt, I can use //send with <bt> to place a bubble on the mob my main char has targeted in red, but this doesn't seem to work when you have an alliance going. Wondering if there's an easier way in an alliance to tag geo bubbles other than alt tabbing to my second char and placing the bubble on a mob |
