It is the only bannable offense, and they do take it VERY seriously. Unless you're jp, then you can still do whatever the *** you please.
Not even a month ago I asked someone, very politely, WHAT THE *** IS YOUR PROBLEM. I never did find out what his problem was, but my problem was waking up to an LM-11 with a logged conversation of being in mordion.

Last year for cussing someone out in /yell that was talking sexually about underage girls, etc.. He never got in trouble but I got suspended for 3 days.
Just two weeks ago a friend of mine claimed he had GM Kyoboril /tell him with a pop-up prompt menu while farming, asking if he was still there. He said it was a menu that said "Are you there?" With about 3 prompts and he said he selected "Yes?".
Apparently he answered correctly and the GM left. Haven't heard of that happening since fish bot days but I have no reason not to believe him so not sure how credible that one is.

It very much either depends on the GM's mood or the specific rules broken (previously). not 100% on it. Maybe the word or the way you said it.

Had one kinda strike that was reversed within like 1hr because I immediately tried talking to the GM when he showed up...and I hastily clicked the wrong option on the pop-up window. Then continued via e-mail the moment I was disconnected.
