i have a problem to login into FFXI since yesterday, i get a error pol-0011
do you have any idea to solve this ?

Unfortunately I get this message alot too. I have this problem for a few months now and have not been able to fix it. Occasionally I manage to get online, I notice everything is lodading extremly slowly however. Inventory, Equip etc.
This is however linked to a single PC at my home. I can log in fine from any other machine in this household.
Switching routers, Lan Cable, from Lan to wireless networks, opening all ports and disabling my firewall has not fixed this issue.
If you find a solution be so kind to share it.

Edit: Logging in from Germany.

Hi, Suppa's Frenchy here. i'm with Orange too. except it gives me the error 1160 instead of 0011.
i can get on the account management quite fine, internet obviously has no issue at all in itself, teste the connection speed and all is very good.

but yeah, i got a global DC yesterday evening. then i could log in back to POL at first but not the game.
later that night i was able to log in 1 account through to FF (and i dced after zoning outside of town) but the others would be stuck outside of POL (i get the error 1160 and it says "Version Update failed") and check file says everythign is perfectly fine.
i tried again this morning and couldnt get any of the account to POL at all.
windower is indeed very slow to load up and so is POL when i get through.

i have tried with and without the firewall, changed nothing.
i'm goign to try with a VPN when i get home this evening but if this is happening for ppl with Orange as a provider, they probably *** up somwhere. it was bad since the football worldcup for various incident including the TV by internet and all so i'm guessing at some lasting issue there. will post if any progress. would be glad for any solution too ^^

logging from paris, if this makes any difference.

I've been having this issue for the past 20+ hours, approximately.
I can't login to the game.
Tried resetting my IP but no luck.

I guess it's an ISP-based issue? How did you guys solve yours, just had to wait until your "Orange" ISP solved it?

Been having this issue myself some what recently. More often than not the game will die during zone, and then I get this error trying to relog.
