Im planning using a leftover from last month with 15 from this month for 1 mars and 1 venus.
But gonna wait till the end of the month to see if some more brainless strats appears to beat the mimic with some degree of safety.

No reason not to expect better droprates though or different thud rates etc. Without even rudimentary numbers it's all complete guesswork though.
One good reason is to actually get said data to see
I feel it is important to report Orb used, Zone you were in and such.
I finally got my first loud thud, on a venus no less, and got the AMAZING.... worthless vagary Punchinellos..... kill me... just kill me now.

6 noises, 8 drop including the gils. i thought it was usually amount of noise +1.
did someone finaly figured the amount of drops vs the amount of chest poped?
is that 5 mil a random bonus regardless of chat you open? as an extra? not accounted for in the total drop amount?

Went in today with Mars lagged out and clicked the main chest when I was trying to target the first middle chest and got an ilvl19 item. Had this been known that clicking middle chest can give items like a thud chest or that it could give you any items at all?
If so, would it not be better to just click the middle chest every time?

Don't think anyone has tried but unless it's getting the sought after stuff at a similar rate as thuds it's not going to be better... and I don't think anyone has mentioned getting any of the rarer equipment with anything less than a thud with some indication that loud is better odds

We don't know, for sure. Most gambled in this event rather than just exiting for 1 spoil. If it does become possible that middle chest can give something good, might be interesting strat to risk nothing and just go for a guaranteed drop.

Okay, well I used my last 4 Mars to test my luck with main chest:

Kandza Crackows
Raimitsukane
Much better rate of an equipment armor than what I’ve been getting with bad luck or 8-9 noise chests. But guess we won’t know if it can drop Omen items unless more people than me risk their Orbs to test. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Alright. I've seen Legion drops in other Loud Thud posts, so it that might explain it, although it's hard to get a completely clear picture because if everybody has the drop then it won't show up in the pool. Was it just a single Loud Thud or did you have other Thuds/Noises?

Alright. I think it's possible that Legion drops are part of the Loud Thud pool although I remain skeptical because it's not ilevel 119+ content and most of the Loud Thuds so far seem to match the pattern. I think legion drops can come from noises but I haven't verified this. Unless everybody enters with a mule that has no gear there's the possibility that you already had whatever it was going to drop on the Loud Thud.

This has been every Venus Orb I've used. I'm about to stop getting them and just switch to entirely Mars from here on out considering you can still get Omen bodies from them.
***, worst Venus I had was last month, 8x Noise then Mimic. Should have just stopped when there was a 50/50 chance that I'd not only not get a thud but also that I'd not even get my vendorable items.
changed my opening procedure for today to open boxes until i see either 2 plain thuds or a single loud thud(i really don't care a lot about the cheap mats and almost all the good drops seem to have been from loud thuds):
58 orbs
6 loud thuds
8 double thuds
44 fails
edit: was not 44 fails, i had several 9 noise's that dropped nothing of interest, was only writing down loud thuds and double thuds
annointed kalasiris and shamash robe were the drops of interest this time, putting me at ~2/316 on omen bodies(though the first 258 were less aggressive; exiting after any single thud or loud thud)
