We thought the same thing when during WotG they introduced augments to our original sky abjurations. Hooray for 2 fast cast on crimson cuisses.

it'd be an incredibly stupid design choice to make players buy a weapon - a weapon that requires a shield to make - to get points for a different weapon (that they don't even need to own to get points for).

You dont need to equip anything to get rp afaik.
B-Defeat foes in Dynamis-Divergence while equipped with the gear you wish to augment.[Same as old Dyna]
