FFXI Log Parsers?

I had been using FFXIP while I played on Windows which was a little buggy but worked. Now that I've moved to Linux I'm really missing the ability to parse as my old parser just will NOT work in Wine.

Does anyone know of a parser I could use to parse my FFXI .log files that would either (preferably) run native in Linux or works in Wine? A friend of mine who's very skilled with programing for Linux offered to re-do the source of FFXIP for me but I'd like to not put him through the trouble if there's already something out there and I just can't find it.

I run Ubuntu jaunty jackalope 64 bit.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I don't use Windower. Do you know of a parser that will read the .log files like FFXIP does so its complaint with the ToS?
