People, as a general rule, expect value:money.
Undeniably FFXI's value:money is lower than it was, but the cost remains the same.
Pretty tough sell to say that they deserve the same amount for the obviously lowered effort.

They've told you, in no uncertain terms the dev team has been cut. The amount of servers has been cut.
Logic dictates their costs went down, the things you pay for went down. Cost remained the same. Nothing debatable about it.

Remote possibility, especially if a lot of people write in answers related to FFXI (since it did not seem to be represented in the selectable choices) and in turn if they even bother to read them.
I suspect though, that most of the feedback related to MMOs is going to be associated with FFXIV by default. They also might just assume that people wanting new/revamped/etc XI have the Nexon project coming.

zero chance. As Isiolia indicated and I posted in the other thread, the survey was written clearly with FFXI not as the focus. They were gathering data on gaming and buying habits, and the only MMO focused questions had FFXIV as the central theme, not FFXI. The only impact I could see this having for ffxi is if everyone rates ffxiv down and says "fix ffxi" in the comment box, and the person(s) happen to be Japanese.

They should bring back Vagrant Story, SaGa Frontier (the original series), and Final Fantasy Tactics. *** this new age of video games, most are rubbish. You bring back the classics that were underrated for years and you will have a quarter of my annual compensation rate.
