Beyond that, I don't think people consider how incredibly hypocritical it is for the U.S. to complain about others meddling in our elections. The CIA has been pulling this crap since the 40s.
Is this particular talking point meant to imply an obligation for inaction on our part because of comeuppance or something?

What do you want us to do? Write them an angrily worded letter?

"Dear Russia,

We noticed that you made a half-hearted attempt at screwing with our election process. Even though there's no evidence that it changed a single vote, and even though we may or may not have done something similar to you in the past (those CIA guys can be rascals, can't they?), we're condemning your nation forever.

That may sound harsh, but let's be real, here. Donald Trump is our president and we can't face the reality that we're responsible for it, so we need a scapegoat. We know that recent presidents have tried to get in your good graces, but that whole Cold War thing still has us a bit touchy, you know?

Now, don't worry. We don't really think you'll stop trying to screw with us, but eventually we'll elect a Democrat again and we'll stop caring about your meddling for the duration. In the meantime, please see the attached list of 932 sanctions that are a direct product of our angst and not in any way equal to the damage you actually did.

Toodles,
America"

According to political expert Stephen Colbert Trump committed treason. He must be related to CJ.

We should handle Russia the same way that our clearly superior European friends are. You know, by building a gas pipeline to our country so that we can avoid buying it from our allies.

Trump is not middle aged unless I still am too.
I agree 40 is probably middle age 70 is just old.
I tried to convince myself otherwise in my 60s but had to give it up.

Is anyone supposed to be persuaded by this list of people calling him a traitor?
No. I offer it as a mater of interest. You seem to be interested. I am interested but not persuaded as well.

Evidence of what? And who he? Not to mention which side?

If he = Trump and side = USA and Russia, he most certainly picked a side. And the side wasn't the USA.

The reason everyone in the media and establishment is freaking out is because Russia has been the favored scapegoat of the establishment for the last 10 years. Bringing up the deep state’s facilitation in funneling 400 million dollars into the clinton camp so that she would win (she didnt) is *** HUGE. Putin certainly knows the weak points of the clintons, obamas and the whole deepstate. They are in full panic mode at the prospect he might not be bought off anymore.

Follow the money!

“The only meddeling that important is the one that makes ME feel bad.”

Putin also likely has Hillary’s 30k emails. The other reason to get so outraged is to get out ahead of their release.
