So, the Charger (horse) "Scintillant Lance" is a classic Ixion-like move that does light-based damage and this damage can be pretty high and goes up, following a certain formula, according to how much he gets healed by the damage he receives during his charging tp moves (that makes him get healed for damage received).
After seeing several PUG PLD die because of Scintillant Lance, yesterday I decided to do 4 runs with myself on RUN/WHM, sporting the appropriate runes of course.
And... Scintillant Lance damage was always laughable.
Thing is, I'm unable to tell if this is because of how good RUN is against that specific move compared to PLD, or because the DDs I was playin with were too competent (compared to the average PUG) in avoiding to heal the horse too much.
I even tried to heal the horse ON PURPOSE spamming Dimidiation hoping to spike up the damage, but to no avail.
Anybody else has more experience on this? I'm curious.
