They should pay for it, what's wrong with that? Well if Jim Jones can build a cult he can build a cult...I mean I can build a cult !
Two views on who really lost in Alabama.
Steve Bannon's Republican critics are gleefully dunking on him for Roy Moore's shocking loss “Not every man can make an Alabama Senate race close, but Steve Bannon can.” Vox Quote: Doug Jones’s shocking victory in Alabama’s Senate special election is a tremendous humiliation for former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who had made Moore’s candidacy the centerpiece of his effort to reshape the Republican Party. And Bannon’s enemies — Republican congressional leaders and their allies, and conservatives who’ve long been skeptical of President Donald Trump — are wasting no time in blaming him for it.... The Biggest Loser in the Alabama Election It’s not Republicans or Democrats, but Christian witness. Christianity Today Quote: No matter the outcome of today’s special election in Alabama for a coveted US Senate seat, there is already one loser: Christian faith. When it comes to either matters of life and death or personal commitments of the human heart, no one will believe a word we say, perhaps for a generation. Christianity’s integrity is severely tarnished.... Nausi said: » Yo if someone wants 4k speeds on Netflix, I shouldn't have to pay for it until I want it. A New Bill Could Help Protect the Open Internet in Washington State Even If Net Neutrality Gets Repealed Seattle Stranger Quote: ... The bill would make sure that even if the FCC decides to repeal net neutrality rules at the federal level, they can remain in place in Washington under the state's Consumer Protection Authority. It would force broadband providers to publicly disclose accurate information about the price and speed of their internet services, and stop these companies from being able to block content online. They wouldn’t be able to engage in paid prioritization—creating internet “fast” and “slow” lanes for consumers who would have to pay more to access the internet. Even though net neutrality can be repealed by the FCC, Hansen says states “have historically had very broad consumer protection authority.” And even though the FCC plans to try and squash states from making their own net neutrality rules, Hansen believes the FCC doesn’t have the authority to stop them without Congressional approval. But first, the bill needs to pass... I've had many years in the church and drinking...I think I've prepared my entire like to build a cult.

A lot of rural areas still don't have broadband access. fonewear said: » What states really need to do is invest in infrastructure. A lot of rural areas still don't have broadband access. You are lucky cause most places in rural areas would only dream of a fiber install. Verizon as far as I know stopped Fios expansion. And Google limited Google Fiber to certain cities. So what exactally changed about how the internet works today?
I'm so confused when looking it up it's all in legalises Valefor.Endoq said: » So what exactally changed about how the internet works today? But people want to be outraged. All net neutrality is supposed to do is not try data differently. So certain companies don't get special treatment. It is up to your ISP to determine how the internet works for you.
Just like people thought the world would end when Trump was elected. But here we are one year later no apocalypse yet...
Key word is ISP could mess up your internet. Whether they will or not is not known.

I know it is hard to comprehend but there is a big difference. fonewear said: » You are lucky cause most places in rural areas would only dream of a fiber install. They figured out that they could both save and make money by stringing fiber. Your "investor owned" power company could too but they won't unless they can get a subsidy for doing it. It is really simple if you don't like what the FCC did call your local senator/ representative and express your displeasure.

Your "investor owned" power company could too but they won't unless they can get a subsidy for doing it. That is why Verizon and Comcast won't do fiber build outs. The initial cost of building fiber is pretty expensive. And it would take a while to get a return on investment. Valefor.Endoq said: » So what exactally changed about how the internet works today? I'm so confused when looking it up it's all in legalises TLDR: it’s no longer being treated like a regulated utility. Which on the surface is no big deal but worse case scenario they just Enron’d The Internet. I heard the FCC is going to shut down CNN...somewhere Jake Tapper is crying.
Wait until I tell my local Senator FFXIAH is an illegal gambling site we will get this site taken down.

I'm so confused when looking it up it's all in legalises Right now nothing, but if it goes unchallenged in court ISP's will start throttling/blocking the internet for certain things, like gaming / torrents / porn / social medias. They'll end up charging you and/or websites to get on the "fast lane" or unblocked. |
