Welcomehome has been readjusting and working on event mgmt and planning a lot in the last few weeks.
Currently we have:
Sunday - Omen 2-3 runs {815 est gather} // Aeonics {for next couple of weeks}
Monday - Free
Tuesday - Free
Wednesday - Omen 2-3 runs {9pm est gather}
Thursday - Free
Friday - Event night {subject to Event organizer}
Saturday - Aeonic {for next couple of weeks}
WelcomeHome community is a collaborative space for folks to chat, chill and join or lead events. The last part is key to the success of an event based Linkshell. I am currently looking for someone who wants to lead and run Dynamis content on a more regular basis. The shell hits solid numbers(50+) on the regular but a lotof folks are missing out on dynamis clears/farming. If you have interest in having access to a big group to do farm/clear or some other type of weekly//bi-weekly event please let me know and we can work something out.
Other than that. Things have been good, organizing our discord to reflect content flow and should be a good few months to come! Hope to see y’all around~

Today marks 2 years since the shell was made. Happy times with everyone who has come in and out of the shell in that time. It’s been fun to play with 99.9% of y’all. The other .1% can shove off! See ya around~
Seriously though everyone who has found their way into this community has been a vital part of the experience while playing FFXI in my 30s. Can’t thank y’all enough for sticking around and helping each other out. Some nights are quiet, some nights are wild but all of them are sappy cause I am gonna shut up now<3
Update. Weekly Omen on Wednesday and Sunday evenings EST around 830-9pm. We changed to a point system. Folks seem to like it. Seems like an Aeonic Run per season as well so stop in and catch the details!

I've returned after a very long hiatus and I am trying to get my head around the game after all these years. I am looking for a laid back relaxed community and this group sounds like the kind of place. I don't see pearls available at the NPCs in most cities, could I meet up or get a pearl somehow.

I’ll be on this evening and make sure atleast Bastok Market and East Adoulin NPcs have pearls. Thanks for heads up. Forgot to run around after update.

[103 days between previous and next post]Welcomehome has been focused on Omen clears and gears the last few months and it is our main focus as as A shell in terms of endgame. We could use a couple good tanks and Rng, Sch, Blm, Geo to keep crusin on Omen bosses. If you have interest in playing those jobs during runs HMU.
WH is an introductory Shell to FFXI in current times and we will always hold that stance. Anyone is welcome here and I hope to see some new faces who are willin to put in some time to either help folks get back in the swing of things or make some progress in endgame. Cheers!

The linkshell is still very active and populated. Lots of good folks come in and out on a daily basis.
We currently have a few events queued up throughout the week including Omen, Namis, vagary and the random aeonic farms.
We are always recruiting anyone, but I am lookin for folks who wants to help keep events going, either by assisting current event leaders or taking on new content themselves. If you are an organizer lookin for people to run events with, then lemme know. We can chat details or you can check out our discord in the above post.

Edit: WelcomeHome has recently hit its 4 year anniversary and we celebrated by having a naked-lvl 1 Bastok>Jeuno run with ingame and real life prizes donated by members. It was a great time and I’m glad to have everyone here after all of these years!

Doubled active numbers in the last week, probably hittin cap soon. If anyone wants to run some events lemme know, if not then lets have fun chatting and askin for/offering help!
Think I wanna do a weekly Pulse weapon farm. and maybe some omen cards. Community is #1 and community lead events are #2~ Again, if you feel compelled to help new players with gear farms please let us know. 1 hour a week doin ***like UNM, Ambu, Vagary ect goes along way in helping this infulx of new players.
