I just want to know if anyone had any trouble connecting to FFXI lately.

Today just about everyone in Whitegate semi-timed out as well as others in other zones.

This morning I had to log in my gardening mule and it took 3 tries for it to connect successfully.

[GM]Dave is probably just hungover and almost tripped over a random server. It happens sometimes. Probably nothing to worry about.

I had it happen once in Sea while fighting JoP and later that day in a merit PT, was weird.

Yeah I had some issues today in the mire when fighting imps ... was NOT fun.
