anyone else having Crash Issues? i was told to unload Dressup Addon, but that didnt fix. its random when it'll crash too, on zone, on action, even idle.

any known broken Plugins atm?

last i heard guildworks caused random crashing (this was over a month ago mind you) i had similar issues back then... unloaded guildwork... issues stopped

that being said that issue could be resolved now as i said it has been over a month tho i havent reloaded it yet

I get several crashes everyday, it happens when windower is not the action window and I am clueless as to why that happens.

So after the most recent lua core update on windower I've been getting crashes consistently every 1-2 hours. I'm not using Firefox (Chrome) and I haven't changed anything. It's getting incredibly annoying when I'm running 3 characters and I start crashing on all 3 accounts. Any ideas? Thanks.

That's what's weird. I'm not doing anything different and the only thing I noticed was the lua core update. Maybe something isn't playing nice with Windows 10.

firefox version 47 crashed me on some sites, I downloaded back firefox 46.0.1 and had no crashes since.

Yes, I too am having crash issues, and more so it seems recently. Just now actually, I had another crash, but only single login this time. I do use wind0wer, basic addons and plugins loaded, and NO gearswap loaded. It's all the same: appcrash: faulting module: kernelbase.dll, faulting application: pol.exe. Trying a reinstall of POL.exe. I did do a FFXI file check, and no errors. NEVER had an issue on older rig running win7. Upgraded entire rig due to lag on dualbox.

im gonna try using Chrome for the next little while to see if that helps, someone also said it might be Flash. but there's no recent update that would cause this all of a sudden.

first day of the abj dial campaign and i've crashed 3 times in about an hour. anyone else having this problem?

Update: was good for about 2 hours now crashed twice again in last hour while idle and arranging inventory.

Windower has crashed on me a few times tonight. No reason that I can see for it happening. Everything loads up fine. It's just a random crash.

So Windower is crashing every time I try and open it today, wasn't happening yesterday, just today. Just want to log in to get my keys so I'll probably just run vanilla FFXI.

For me I crash whenever I switch IME to Japanese. I wanted to see if the plugin was working, but I get a crash every time. If I try to boot up with IME set to JP, I get an automatic crash.

Everything else has been fine except for that.

I noticed for me it crashes with ad heavy sites, great example is ffxiclopedia. Chrome or Firefox, it crashes for me on both

Is there anything I can check to try and fix windower crashing? FFXI works vanilla but crashes when I launch Windower, like it doesn't even load up the Windower start window.

I looked at event viewer and I just get these two events every time:
