Does anyone know what's max fast cast dark matter augment for colada? I've seen 6%, not counting the 4% on the unaugmented weapon. Has anyone seen higher?
I expect it is still 6%. Merlinic pieces can get +7 and I think Herc too though, both with Fern. Griovalr can get 7% with Fern too.
A lot of augs can go higher with dark matter than with the regular stones and unless I'm mistaken colada doesn't get FC at all with the regular augments according to wiki.
Without a fern stone "Anker" value it's tough to tell if it can't go higher. I suppose 10% total on colada would still be BiS since sakpata sword is rare but I was expecting more.

In that case I have no idea, but I've not seen FC above 7% ever
Pretty sure I've seen 8% FC on gear.
There was a pic of FC +8 earlier in the thread but it's gone now.

Colada can get 8% Fast Cast with dark matters.

BLU or pld precast i guess, 12% FC on a slot is pretty decent if you arent concerned about TP being wiped i.e nuke spam

Refresh+2 has disappeared for me completely. Think I got 1 since it became every day permanent, every day I do it on 2 chars.
I have no data to back this up, but also feel the augment draws have gotten worse since they became permanent. I have been pulling for a month and have seen only one Phalanx +3, let alone 4 or 5.

I believe this. It should be borderline illegal to do this in a video game (especially since SE's goal here is to extract a few extra months of $12.95 from players). God forbid, they add an extra augment, or increase an augment maximum by 1. In the real world, you have a carrot/stick metaphor. But with FFXI/SE, the carrot is mostly rotten by the time you get it, but the stick sometimes gets shorter. So, yay?

I think I'm also unstuck in time and maybe it has been four months. I've been pulling basically since they made the change. I actually started with Phalanx +4 on the piece and accidentally accepted a trash augment while multitasking, so I am at net Phalanx -1 over all these pulls.
I believe I have seen a TH+2, so I don't believe the actual pool has changed but maybe the distribution has.

I got one Phalanx +5 Herc piece in July two weeks after the update. Aside from that I have not seen anything over a single +3, across 5 characters. It definitely seems like S-E made the rates for the most desirable stats worse once.
Confirmation bias, IMO.

Just luck of the draw I would think. It's an incredibly rare augment in the first place.

Since the very beginning of DM I've only seen 1 +5 and have zero on a primary char.
Gotten 2 or 3 Phalanx +5s since it became permanent. One of them being on literally the first augment after the change.
I got +5 on most sets before it became permanent. I guess this is where my luck went.
Ok, glad to know that I am just having bad luck then.
I lazily did DM augments when I remembered for a long time and made a full set of +4/+5, then it went to daily and I thought "awesome! Time to grind out the last ones now that I know I can literally do it every day." Since then, only backwards.
I did get a Hades Earring +1 with a light resist augment recently, though.

I feel like it's worse too but can't prove it. I have got a couple of+5 phalanx pieces but also some th+2
I overwrote my P4 while chasing a P5 one morning when I was half asleep.... and... it's since a month later become P1 and then P3. Almost back to square one
