Reforged Relic Armor?

When you do the reforged relic armor with Sagheera, will you get worse augments if you use base Relic Armor as opposed to Relic Armor +1/+2?

I'm trying to find out if it's worth it to upgrade the armor to +1/+2 at 75 first to get better stats once I reforge it. Monisette makes it sound like that's the case but I haven't seen any info about that in guides...

It only makes it cheaper. Less papers and thats only into the +1 reforged. It's not worth the time either.

Should probably upgrade to +2 through the Magian Moogle + 50 of whatever forgotten item you need, as Forgotten items will generally be much cheaper than the 2x 100 pieces to jump from NQ > 109.
