well seeing this (if thats all it is) i woudlnt be surpized if the final upgrade to A. WEapns will prolly require 2100

There, now you have to get 2100 job points before you can say how bad/good it is :P

In that post could they not just be referring to the -15 minutes reduction which could be via the means of a trait?

LMAO that this was categorized as an "issue"... that has been ongoing since 2006 >.< Well known to PUPs that Flashbulb didn't generate hate like player flash spell (just flash effect, JA proc, and minimum possible hate - enough to get on enmity list)


Speaking of PUP and MNK related stuff:
Comeuppance/+1 look VERY nice. Super low delay, good damage (given the delay), STR+20 is killer for Smite/Pummel, and a ton of Acc. Just eyeballing here, but probably beat all pre-November non-Mythic H2H in situations where you're fighting things that matter. Kenkonken/Glanz prob get a run for their money too (and surely when AM3 isn't as feasible).

For quick comparison:
Comeuppance+1: DMG:+125 Delay:+49 STR+20 Accuracy+41 Skill+242 Unity: DA+1~5
Denouements (generally regarded among the top non-Mythic H2H before today): DMG+139 Delay:+96 Acc+25 Skill+242 QA+3% Colossal Blow (very rare proc)

And are they UNM Shenlong Baghnaks dropping from UNM PANDEMONIUM WARDEN?!?!? Seems like it with 4 coffers: one from "Tumult Curator" and the other three corresponding to UNM Khim/Hydra/Cerb. Interesting.

Oh, and holy ***dat Hetairoi Ring. All jobs Crit Rate+1% TA+2% TA damage +5.

Edit: hahaha OK I learned stuff on Wikipedia. Seems about right!

Yup, lord knows how badly they downgraded, I mean when FFXI was popular and connections were slower I had a faster download speed than I do now.

Ended up cancelling, I'll either wait for someone to upload the patch or do it during tomorrow night.

Wow, blind much? Read my above post about the UNM H2H. And the godly Crit/TA ring (all jobs but still).

I'm sure the Reisenjima augmented gear (Herculean set) is gonna be strong too. For PUP the base feet and hands look like they have a lot of potential, and PUP has been lacking on really great headwear too so maybe the helm is worth something.

Oh, AND the fantastic Flashbulb and Strobe adjustments for automaton tanking. "PUP got basiclly nothing..." OK, sure.

Ahh bad formatting, yeah that's weird? Does COR have an issue with Leaden Salute / Wild Fire being resisted on hard stuff?

They do get resisted on harder stuff, yeah. It's not like a gigantic issue for the job, but yeah I'll gladly take an extra chunk of Macc.

Edit: never hurts for Quick Draw either.

most people look down on you unless your Rng attking all the time, imsure theyll have some aug to it that will be nice wulda been better to have it also on base stats tho

Aeonic Weapons are completely uniform. Skill, TP Bonus, even Store TP. Including the Mage staff. Meaning:

What we see in the .DATs isn't their full stats. They'll be getting augments. Whether they'll have paths like the Ru'Aun weapons, or be gradually upgraded as you collect the time sink items, is still up for grabs. Hell, for all we know, the upgrade paths offered to us might vary depending on what Job Master title we have!

But saying they suck now is like saying the new armor sucks when we all know it'll be augmentable.

(Although to be honest, I secretly hope they'll still end up sucking so I don't have to make one.)

On the plus side, maybe the new stones won't be a random augment system. There's no +1s or +2s, and SE added frayed sacks of them. Maybe the three types of stone each correspond to their own paths, instead of the one-size-upgrades-all Eschalixirs we've been using. We'll know when we manage to get in; fingers crossed until then.
