Looking For An Possible Event LS On GMT Times

Hello everyone,

Myself "Eurewyen" and a friend of mine Faciont, have recently returned back to the game after a few years of silence.
We are looking for an Linkshell that will accept such players as us. We don't have the biggest progress yet, but we are working on it. But doing things that we can duo, but it takes a long time, and not able to do the higher tier of events. But most linkshells declines you, because you don't have the right equipment. But I have allways wonder how to obtain this gear, if not able to join a linkshell who do these types of events, and accept players like us.


Atm I still work nights, but have applied for a day job, and get an awnser after November 13th. But until now I mostly plays during weekends, and can be fully active there, and if I get luckey for the day job, I can also play during evenings Monday- Friday from 8pm GMT+1

I've have played FFXI a long time, and I have had my own share of LS's aswell, so some players might now my game name aswell. I'm not a hardcore player, but I listen and trying to do my best that I can, and willing to improve to become better.

My main job is DNC, PUP, PLD. But my paladin lacks a bit of work yet. Aegis on stage 4 85% finished on stage, and Ochain on the stage to collect souls atm.

Faciont is a main THF, BLU, and some others, he is much better geared then myself. But we come as a good solid troop for any LS. We know ouer jobs well enough, and that must count for something right :)

I heard that FFXI will stay online aproximently 2 years more, so my time to try the higher goals should be now, if someone on Asura will give me and us a chanse, even though not the best gear yet.

We do alot of the duo things we can, but the bosses are cheapos :p - will not drop what we are after.

Anyway, seriouse side, if anyone has a spare room for us, please send me an tell ingame or treu FFXIAH.

Welcome back ex LS leader!!!

I've not been on much lately. Will be more active post Nov update. If I'm on, send me a /tell. EU players on Asura are kinda scattered LS wise or... Have quit.

I got some here and i am GMT as well mainly. /poke

TLoU (The Last of Us) is the only event-based EU LS that I can think of on Asura.
We are not currently looking for new members, but you can try applying if you want, or have a talk with one of our officers in-game (Sechs, Czephiroth, Lewyo, Tymoris)

TLoU is kinda an anachronistic LS I'd rather say. There's a pretty social and friendly atmosphere inside, and we're not that hardcore anymore.
At the same time though we have some rules which may seem anachronistic given the current state of the game.
We have trial membership (i.e. a period of trial for a new applicant before he becomes a full member), we have 3 events a week which are *mandatory* and stuff like that. (each event lasts 2hrs)

Also, considering the initial premise (that we don't really need anything in particular atm) we can afford the "luxury" of being a bit demanding when it comes to new applicants.
That is: I can hardly see someone with only melee jobs getting in atm. We want our members to rotate because they get bored playing the same job over and over and over, and so we demand a certain degree of versatility from our members, and stuff like that.

Other than this, which I reckon may seem quite a lot, we're not necessarily looking for super-elite players with 24/7 playtime and over 2000 RMEs.
I dunno, may seem a bit harsh but we're actually a pretty friendly bunch, we're just a bit selective in who to get in.
Let's not be hypocrites: it's no use getting someone in if the LS as a whole cannot benefit someway from that new presence, no? It's kinda a way to avoid mutual waste of time.

Thanks for that. But I've talked to Tymoris and Celeena, and there where no need for us sadly :( I wish there where, because we are still some good players who know how to play the game right, just need the helping efforts for us and others to reach higher tiers of events.

My apologize, been alot of distractions latley, and sadly even more this morning. my wifes fathers brother just passed away just like that, at the dinner table yesterday. So not sure when I come back online again. But yes, I did found 2 social LS, one with more random events for higher tiers aswell. But I'm far off that content atm. My acc on both pally and dnc is not good.

But when I get back on, I give you an haller allright :)

Thanks for the kind words. No worries, I go along as much I can. But it is hard not beeing accepted into a LS who do higher content because you lack gear/acc etc, so that part allways will be hard if not getting some small efoorts in help from bigger fun stuff.

Yeah I did found 2 homes, let the time see what it will become out of them.

It's not even so much the gear etc though having JP, acc does help. We do not expect the best of the best gear though we do like people to have 550+ JP on jobs they main, and decent acc for higher end content cause without its hard to hit/land stuff.

Like I said in my post mainly its jobs that we currently could use for what we do and the setups we normally use. You listed Dnc, Pup, Pld. Only job we really use out of that list is pld, and to be honest we have 3 Burt O/A pld already, and other pld that are A/O non burt so really do not need anymore. The only thing I can see pup being used for with our setups is tanking AV v2, and I have someone already that could play that role, and we do not really need any DD since most our members have DD and support leveled and geared already.

If you had support jobs leveled to add more of a variety that that is a different story. We like our members to have a variety of jobs, so that we can rotate who is on what job so the same person is not on same job all the time if possible. Anyway hope to see you in game sometime. Take care!
