I loved the knife toss and the blood as well. lol Looks so fun! Not even that big on FPS, but CoD4 roped me in big time!

i may get it but i am only interested in Blu-Ray and FFXIII Versus, other than that PS3 doesn't have anything 360 doesn't and 360 online is about 100x better

Valkyria and MGS4 are my main reasons for wanting it! The exclusives, wi-fi (360 wireless is BS) and free online are all very attractive. :D Slim PStree!
First time I saw Valkyria I was floored and have been wanting to play it ever since. Tactical RPGs have always been my favorite and from what I could tell it seemed rooted in that genre, but super amazing and an awesome visual style. Even started watching the anime. D:

I still question the free online, because i remember how pathetic the servers were on socom it was so unreliable it angered me into actually purchasing xbox live and rainbow 6 3 lol
You just get chills playing it, the game is simply gorgeous. :)
LBP is fun too but definitely a group thing, a lot more entertaining when you slap your friends off a wall.
The SOCOM issues are more related to SOCOM not the servers. However the game is still fun.

PS3 is selling for $300, if that isnt an incentive to buy one, I don't know what is lol. If I had the cash, I'd definitely get one.
I seriously think that I may quit FFXI when this game is released. Even after a few years of CoD 4 I still split my limited gaming time evenly between it and FFXI.
This game looks rowdy as hell and I will definitely be spending more time playing it than CoD4.

MGS4, Valk and LBP are the main ones I can think of at the moment, I'd have to go into other room and take a look at what I have. For the most part it's multi-plat games.
Oh actually Resistance 1&2 are good, so is Killzone 2. I haven't got into the online on that much but apparently a lot of people like it.
OHHHH and definitely play Uncharted and soon Uncharted 2. I have never laughed so much in a single player game as I have in Uncharted. So looking forward to Uncharted 2.
playing FPS with a controller is kinda lame imo. mouse is so vastly superior.. dont get what the big deal is about a console FPS game

Probably but most people don't care. You also don't need to spend big numbers on a rig. You also have a wider audience to play with. It's a level playing field with everyone having the same specs.
While PC might be superior, the communities involved with console gaming offer more.
