LS mate just posted on forums they got hacked. This is what happened like 3 minutes after in LS.

what *** pisses me off is that the GMs wont even take my calls for this ***. they send me messages from the help desk telling me the player i reported (no where did i say a player name btw) is being investigated and not to go to the site. super irritating. they shouldn't need to investigate crap since impersonating a GM is a bannable offense right there.

GM I called yesterday got the job done, 1min later, that rmt was gone.

My friend was hacked 3 times the this week along, and she has the Token,

She told me, after Calling S.E to unlock her account, and so she could play the game again, they told her that some on had hacked the security token web site, and that who ever did it had access to the PW's for the token

(she was hacked 3 days ago, then yesterday and then was locked outa her account today, for "Mutipule Failed attempts" )

Official source or I won't believe that lol... You don't "hack" into a such database like that man. Not like your information are stored unencrypted on SE side. SE told her, SE told her. SE tells their customer a lot of ***.

You aware that a such thing would have a major impact on SQEX but also for the company who provide the security token ? If SE didn't make it public, it's not like they gonna warn a random customer.

Would be like your bank servers getting hacked, your bank trying to hide it from media, but still warn their customers "oh yeah we got hacked, but don't say it to anyone".

That's exactly what sucks the most about it. I know there are probably a buttload of people that will call GMs on people sending you those kind of tells. Seeing how a LS member got hacked and now made advertisement through the RMT... I don't wanna know how many people blacklisted him and other stuff. Earlier that day I got a tell from Puresin, who happens to be from Titan and being inactive since 2007? Wtf lol

What strikes me a bit about them is the site background information

Seems to be a Chineese company.
Well they got a adress in there ... anybody good with chineese ? ...

Anyway, the site is a pretty cheap forgery, and my Firefox already reports it as fake. They even stole images directly from the Linkshell Community site, which should make it pretty easy for SE's legal team to take it down.
I also find it funny that they actually ask for your Square-Enix account information, as nowhere on linkshell site they do ...
But all in all, it looks pretty official to the untrained eye. I must admit it's pretty clever idea to use to scam people, but I'm concerned with the aggressiveness that they are doing it.
