i'm not on your server, but raising a digger chocobo is fairly easy. unless you want a specific color you can have any abilities and what-not by day 64. i did one a few months ago and she's a pro. she has capped discernment (for hot & cold, mostly) and receptivity (i don't know why i did that).
getting the abilities learned is pretty easy and that's the main thing with a digger chocobo in my experience.
