Best Pets For Leveling Up?
Best pets for leveling up?
Looking for pets that have a strong move that only costs 1 ready charge, I've been using crab familiar and see anywhere from 300-2k damage, but I'm 55 now and I need something for the rest of the levels. Any advice would be appreciated.
You can try Funguar Familiar for now (jug of seedbed soil from Toji Mumosulah) - Frogkick is pretty good at 1 charge and the pet should last until you're at least level 65.

I tried funguar and the tiger, I was greatly disappointed and went back to crab ripping stuff up with GF doing poison nails>Big Scissors> Distortion. I am 62 now and most definitely going to level cooking for food/jugs.
If I am not mistaken, CC caps at lv75.
Thankfully, when he's 75, he'll start having access to much better pets. Sabotender is pretty sweet these days.
It's sad that the selection is so lacking until then, but sounds like the crits on Big Scissors are doing well (plus the nice synergy with those Poison Nails).

I've been looking periodically for those jugs, none have been on the AH lately.

I had a serious case of WTFace when I was hitting 1k+ at level 30 on IT mobs

best pet is the Human Pet, you afk in Abyssea and come back to 99!
