I wish that I had been able to pull SS2, SG, Boon, or even Lulus Hairpin after all that mythril I spent...sure seems like they would be very useful for misfortune fights.

I saw a video of the 140 yunalesca. It's a draw fire + retaliate strategy. Yuna has some ability that isn't available on the global version. Doesn't appear to be too bad, but we'll see.

I tried Exdeath, couldn't really even get close to 9999 nukes with Mental Breakdown + Status Reels. I actually watched someone on reddit doing it with a level 50 Ashe and worse gear that hit harder than my level 80 Rinoa, so confused.
whats your Rinoas total magic?

I couldn't decide if Faith or Diaga would be better, since I was hitting in the 8000s or rare low 9000s last time without Faith I am going to assume hitting 5000-6000 Diagas would result in more damage compared to Faith bringing me up to 9999. Although it's questionable on how often I cast Diaga vs healing.

I got 2 copies of Brave Blade, and I suddenly started to become interested in Bartz. Right now, Lupine Barrage is my highest multi hit SB, and with FFV synergy plus some buffs, i can see he dealing 50k against Exdeath. If not for the mastery conditions, i think its possible to make a solo Bartz against Exdeath (if Squall could...).
Im already considering in using him as a regular, its nice he already got his MC2 and a BSSB. That means hes currently up to date in power creep terms. Also with Thiefs Raid icing the cake... Bartz could be a machine gun!
Yunalesca elite can *** off. Managed to get to the end of the battle with no deaths despite 4 mind *** in a row only to get expert due to taking too much dmg.

I'm going to try her out using the strategy I saw online.

I haven't even got close to that level of hones, gear, or char levels. My highest lv guy is 69 and I have 0 synergy for X. Hoping i can even beat the 110 for Wakka's MC2
I got Tyro's and Tidus' second record materias but they don't show up in the list. Is this a bug in global release that is still not fixed for some reason or do I have to do something else before they show up? They are "Dr. Mog's Teachings" and "Ace Striker".
I tried Exdeath for like 3 hours straight, this is just not in any way fun.

Yeah, third RM. Their level caps were already 80 and I got the drops, still nothing.
I have both of them so its not a bug.
If they dont appear in your list, probably its something with the filters or maybe you just didnt get them as they arent automatic like the RM1, you need to farm them in dungeons like the RM2.

Sephiroth's RM2 was the same way. the announcement you get after uncapping their level just means that you can now GET that RM, randomly as a prize after battle by using that character.

After the orbfest plus sunday dailies, finally i will have time to do the FFV extra fights.
the FFV extra events are absolutely ridiculous. maybe if you're willing to dump $100 into buying Mythril to get some 5 stars, but this is becoming utterly stupid.

Well, I thought I wouldn't be able to get through the last couple FFV fights without a decent mage squad, but I managed to eek by with advantaliate setups. It seems to be my go-to for just about everything hard nowadays.
I think we need to Hone Carbuncle to r2 for the ex +++ boss damnit. I was saving those orbs for valefor r3

You could sacrifice a slot for regular reflect if needed and hope for the best. I wonder if magic lure works for it.
I have my Carby R2, but why are you considering that now?
Magic Lure + Reflect works as well as Carbuncle. Actually even better. I dont use my Carbuncle since Seymour i think.

You need Carbuncle and berserk for the ex+++ battle. I don't think magic lure works since it's a physical attack.
I just finished it. R1 carbuncle is sufficient. Ugh I honed it for nothing. The hardest thing was landing berserk.
