Bastore Sardine isolation?
Does anyone know how to isolate Bastore Sardine for fishing guild points? I tried Mhaura with Lu's and Sabiki Rig but I continually catch Yellow Globes.
Why not to farm them direct of mobs? I think most sahagins in Sea Serpent Grotto drop them.
Because you need like 50 of them.
Incidentally, you can buy them from a Mog Garden with rank 3 monster rearing for 30 gil a piece. Ask around, should be some people willing to pick some up for you.
No monster needed, it's just added by default when you get rank 3.
Well, I got rank 3 and no bastore sardine at Moogle.
Did you just get it? I suppose it might require you do the CS with Chacharoon in the new beach section. Anyway, when buying from the moogle, it gives an option "Rank 3 creatures". Should be under that.

Any Fishing Rod + Sabiki Rig @ Fishing Guild in Port Windurst = Bastore Sardines.
The problem is you're fishing in Mhaura, and with Sabiki Rig you're going to catch way more Yellow Globes than you will Bastore Sardine. But at the Fishing Guild in Port Windurst, Bastore Sardine are the more common fish.
You catch up quus at Port Windust with Lu's and Sabiki so it's not isolation.
