What Are You Watching?

Right now i am watching a Press Conference on NFL network of the signing of Michael Vick to the Eagles.
THis sucks because it is live in place of the replay of the cowboys preseason game i missed at while at work last night.

Brendon: I don't know.
Coach McGuirk: Uh, John McGuirk, Your Honor.
Judge: Have I seen you in court before?
Coach McGuirk: Yes, several times, but that's not important, sir. What's important is that my HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE nephew is innocent.
Brendon: I'm NOT HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.
Coach McGuirk: Yes you are, Brendon, now shut up. Uh, Your Honor, during the day of the accident, Brendon was suffering from a severe bout of, uh, mentally challenged... stuff.
Brendon: What are you doing?
Coach McGuirk: [Whispers to Brendon] Mistrial, Brendon. [Addressing the Judge] Also, Your Honor, uh, Brendon was suffering from dementia, which, uh, was passed down to him from... me.
Judge: Now, wait, now...
Coach McGuirk: I don't even know where I am right now, Your Honor.
Brendon: I got hit... I was hit by a car!
Judge: Now, you were hit by a... r-right. S-so what are you telling me here?
Coach McGuirk: Well, that Brendon was hit by a car, and that... that it was, uh, his fault.
Brendon: You'd make a FANTASTIC lawyer.

I'm SO glad they put this back on Adult Swim. They weren't showing it for a while and I had sold my DVDs for kitty food money. My favorite Adult Swim shows are Home Movies, The Mighty Boosh, The Venture Brothers, Squidbillies, Frisky Dingo, and some that aren't on the current lineup.

12 oz. Mouse was crazy. And I loved the Brak Show and Harvey Birdman. Getting bored with ATHF and Robot Chicken, only because I've seen them all so many times. OH! And are they still not showing Garth Marenghi's Dark Place? I LOVE that one. And Sealab 2021. And Lucy, Daughter of the Devil.

The Mighty Boosh is *** terrible.

I can see why some people would hate it. I LOVE it. I abhor some of the shows mentioned by other people, but I'm not gonna get on here and bother posting about hating shows that other people enjoy.

Adult Swim isn't what it used to be. Space Ghost, Sealab, Brak, Futurama, Harvy Birdman etc. Those were all great shows.

Now they just play the dumbest ***like Boosh, Tim and Eric Show Great Job, and I have seen some other stupid british show that was painful to watch.

I will say this though... I am, like you, am ecstatic they brought back Home Movies. It is another one of those great shows from when AS was good.

No, AS is definitely not what it used to be. I used to be able to watch the entire lineup, especially on Sundays, and enjoy nearly all of it. I did see some other British show on AS recently that was really awful (not the Mighty Boosh or Dark Place ^^). But yes, Home Movies was a great one for AS to bring back. I'm a big Jon Benjamin fan. Loved Dr. Katz. And his bits on Cheap Seats were the best.

Seriously Tim and eric, super jail and squidbillies are all perfectly good reasons to loose faith in the human society. how did a show like that even get past the pilot. But Frisky Dingo is really good I wouldn't buy the dvd though but Ventures brothers I would.

I can also see why people would hate Squidbillies. But it's much funnier when you live in fairly close proximity to the area and the kind of people the show mocks. I live in North Florida and have been through Georgia numerous times on my way elsewhere. I've SEEN things. [/laugh]. Thankfully, my part of Florida isn't too bad, but I AM familiar with that stuff.

I am watching my team of created characters destroy the Indianapolis Colts on Maddenn '09. (Nothing was on and it's pretty interesting sometimes... shuddap... don't judge me)

Oh, and besides what I like on Adult Swim, the only show I watch regularly is The Universe. Yeah, kind of in a different vein, huh? Hehe. It's the one show that I watch and don't let my man take control of the TV during.

I'm in South FL and I think I should be thankful I can't relate to that show in the least. lol Most of your listings I liked, but Squidbillies is my one giant annoyance on AS next to Superjail. Both are just waaaay too much for me. lol All I can say in regards to you losing your "Home Movies" (lol) is friggin cats!

Bad Company

Bump. Was watching Burn Notice until the season ended just recently. Am now IMPATIENTLY waiting for the new season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" which is my favorite. <3

So being the masochist I am, and against my better judgement I sat and saw Street Fighter: the Legend of chun-li. Inono maybe if Chris Klein char (Charlie Nash) was killed at the beginning of the movie this would be a better motion picture. Looks like he purposely did a bad acting. Horribly acting from his part. The story also moved too quick in my opinion. And just for a bit of fan rant, Balrog is black now? Vega is native american? and Ugly?! so many gorgeous native americans around and they had to pick the ugly one?! WTH!! And Bison?! This movie make me take my Street Fighter 2 SNES cartridge and hug it and yell WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU!

God adult swim used to be so epic. I can't even stand to watch it anymore... and i can't stand that metalacalypse show... OR the tim and eric one...

wutttt, I love those shows. lol Metalocalypse was an immediate favorite because it was from Brandon Small from Home Movies, as well as Lucy, Daughter of the Devil from Loren Bouchard. :3 Took me awhile to get into Tim and Eric, but it is pretty great after you get their aim and the style. It's like a huge mockery of infomercials and adverts from the 80s and 90s half the time. lol

Also, though I usually hate Sci-fi, err .."Syfy" movies, this "Odysseus" that's on right now is fairly good so far.

Opps sorry confused Balrog with Sagat. And yes Vega was from Spain. The mask was used to protect his pretty face. Still bad movie
