Fishing And Crashing

I remember when SE changed the UI awhile back and I was always crashing while fishing. I attempted to fish today and on the 5th fish I crashed again. Is this a known issue or am I alone on this matter?

i dont think its new. Fishing has always made me crash.

Are you using windower 4? If you are, you need to download the addon or plugin that fixes the fish crash.

That arrives at me some time when the game(set,play) crash. Your summers not the only one feel reassured

I know this is a very old thread but I appear to be having this issue. When I cast the game will not respond. I can type and receive in-game messages etc. but I cannot cancel fishing. I have added the plugin but still not resolved. Is that what the crash was or is this completely different?

That happened to me about 5 times during maze mongers fishing maze when I would have an automaton summoned on pup before I figured out what was going on, but might not be related to your issues

Oh, and don't have fastcs on

I have this same issue on Windower - most noticably when I am running the Assault mission that requires fishing. config FrameRateDivisor 2 does not resolve (as it seems to with other in-engine issues like cutscenes), so my only resolution is to simply not use Windower when I need to fish.

Would love to know if anyone has an idea on what might fix this, although I will probably start by disabling all add-ons and plugins and build it back up from there.
