So, yeah. This is pretty sad news, Hunter x Hunter is quite a good anime, and where anime is concerned, I tend to be extremely picky.

That's too bad. It's understandable though. The anime has caught up the manga. It'll pass it in only a few weeks. The Dark Continent Arc is only just starting, and right now it's 95% talking. It'll probably pick up again, like it did last time.

I agree Kalila, I hope they do resume it after a hiatus like the manga did, one of the very few anime that got me pumped up :D

I hope the 2011 anime just takes a hiatus for the manga to skip ahead a bit then do one arc a year or something until the author decides to end it or he goes on hiatus again (at which point please for the love of god...end it for him).

The best shounen manga/anime hands down, it just had to catch up with the manga at some point.

Its a pain such great mangaka takes so many breaks. I dont remember if its some serious stuffs like health, but Yoshihiro Tagashis series are a test of patience.
Adds this, so much time in between chapters, and when he feels like pissed, he just toss some half assed drawings just to complete his schedule. Its kind of disrespect also, publishing sketch of the manga. I remember yu yu hakusho last chapters are so poorly drawed, and so poorly concluded, that anime is the only option to see something half decent for some of the most brilliant plots manga has showed.
HxH plot is kind of unique. And some arcs are wonderful like the Yorknew city. Few times I saw such involving story. Its amazing, tagashi is brilliant writer, just too bad we can never see the story fully developed, due to mangakas problem.
Add this frustation to great mangas I hope someday will finish, like Berserk and ***. (lol. *** is a censored word...)
