I distinctly remember something in the last update about how new furnishings would allow certain items to be purchased with allied notes. Did I miss it? Can someone point me in the right direction or has no one gotten this to work yet.

New decorations have been unlocked, and items obtainable with Allied Notes for players in possession of these decorations added.

No word on it man.

EDIT:

Looks like poor translation on second thought "Decoration" meaning the new medals. Bleh.

lol, that's not a poor translation... that's English. Hence why war veterans are commonly known as "decorated heroes" and such.

Medals is the proper word....

EDIT:

It doesn't say "Moonlight Decoration" near my name it says "Moonlight Medal".

Yeah, but Decoration is the term for all of those things. Medals are just the (current) highest Decoration you can earn. There are also Wings, Ribbons and... something else.

Campaign medals are a form of Military Decoration.

Yeah wiki got me thinking differently though:
http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Campaign

Medal is used to describe the key item obtained when you rank up. Yes I understand that Decoration=Medal since my family is military but in the context it was used it just didnt compute.

There are no rank-ups in Campaign. You're simply awarded medals as decorations in honor of your military service. This isn't Assault. You start Campaign essentially as a Private, and no matter how many ribbions/star/medal/etc you earn, you will always be a Private receiving your decorations from the same commanding officer.
