Any word on the proc rate of this augment?

Which one? On anything not High-tier Battlefield, and not delve they're all pretty good, at least better than most not RME 119s and 117.
Basically if the skill doesn't matter, they're (what can I say here without someone flipping out and arguing? can I say good?) pretty good.
Depending how mediocre you are, and what you're doing , things like OAT Maochinoli can be better(overall) than tinhaspa, obviously if you're overkilling the madrigals and hunters roll, or geo debuffs and all that optimization. Depending on how you skew it you can even make them better than Sphari/Glanz/Vere 119s...
(statement obviously doesn't apply to the best of the best but for average people who slack with aftermaths, and foods, it's possible.)

Of course it does depending on what you use it on. If you are dumb and try to use it on a difficult AA fight then yes, waste of time. However if you use it in say salvage, dynamis, outside delve nms or something that isnt as high level then weapons like the bow are awesome.

No, no. They are great pieces when used correctly.
Atoyac augmented with Rng.Acc.+15 and Occ. atk. twice is really nice for RNG.
Xiutleato augmented with Regen+3 and Occ. atk. twice (or Accuracy+15) is a great PLD idle/regen set piece.

Have to decide for yourself. What're you using it for. Do you not have 119 ukon/rag/bravura?
OAT/Crit would be the best DPS. And that's more or less the only options. While it APPEARS that there are 18 things that you can choose from, that's not really true, there's really only 4-5 at the most.
STP WSD Crit rate/damage
If you want to take WAR to delve or new battles, using that, I suggest you not do that. But that's just my opinion.
atm i really only use for random stuff, FC and such but i like keepin my options open in case ppl do need it. im still on the skirmish gear from yorcia so i dont have optimal gear by any means. always looking for other options.

As a general blanket statement, Crit rate > Crit damage.
It doesn't matter how much damage the crit could do if it doesn't crit.

I did a Dynamis-Qufim run on THF/DNC with Iziikoh main & Atoyac sub with OAT & Attack +15 augments.
I can definitely confirm the "at least" 40% OAT rate (I had a 42% OAT rate) Suffice it to say, it was fun demolishing mobs in there. It didn't help my proc rate though, as most mobs were killed before I could land it.

Made Atoyac yesterday augmented with OAT and Ranged Attack +20, great offhand for COR/DNC.
Personal opinion at least for dagger. For offhand, a Sabebus DA3 seems to perform better than Atoy OAT/(aything), at least vs adoulin stuff.
I made my Atoy WSD2% / MagAcc for Cor and Ranger and kept Sabebus Da3 for Dnc offland.

I second this, I put crit rate+4% and occ. attacks twice on Ajjub, for lower content this thing is srsbusiness!
Get the accuracy from elsewhere if you're using the occasionally attacks twice augment and you're missing like a blinded DRK with cataracts. It's that simple.

Was just playing around on DRK with the Xbalanque augmented with STP+5 and OaT. Was pretty sick doing solo skillchains from Insurgency > Entropy > Gravitation > Spiral Hell > Darkness with warrior sub.
Also helps when you can 5 hit as well without /sam sub :D

Not in NA.
I can totally understand why Sega wouldn't release it in NA though. PSU and monster hunter was never popular in NA, PSO2 is essentially same type of brainless hack and slash super grind.
