Getting Rem's 6-10 Without Sparks?

Hey all, question for you, and need a detailed answer. Item level 115 SAM, with 109 reforged AF/Relic and sparks weapon, and looking to upgrade those to 119 reforged, however, the limiting factor right now is the rem's tales.

I know you can get them from the AA and hard mode battlefields, the question is how do I go about doing those? What ones are easiest to get each chapter from? Am I at a level I can do them on tough, or should I do normal and below, and if so, how easy hard are they?

And what strategy would be the one to use, most things I read about them (like on bgwiki) don't really tell me much on how the fight actually goes. I'm interested in not being a scrub anymore, and this would be the way to do it.

(I say without sparks since spending an entire day to cap them to only buy about 3 chapters worth is not really the best time investment to getting these, although spending sparks to get just a few that I'd need here and there is something I'd do)

I can usually do about 45k sparks and hour as rdm/blm in aby. then go solo easy AA and get a few more chapters there. then repeat.

119 weapon is really a must for DD jobs in AA (And SAM isn't needed or wanted on some AA fights.)
You should get the shark delve GK before doing N+.
Either work on that or use sparks would be my suggestion.
(Or take an easier to gear job.)

The magic words.

I would say for your gear setup, focus on building a group capable of taking on Normal content battlefields. Specifically, you would want to make sure you have the standard setup to avoid any mishaps in battle.

AAs is a good start. First, get 15 merits. Then, convert those merit points into Key Items. There is a guy i each home nation that sells you key items: http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/Category:High-Tier_Mission_Battlefields

Once you buy the appropriate KI, then make your way to the zone entrance in La'Loff, or any of the other battlefields. Winning allows you to get 2 chapters (on normal) individually and in pool, which means you can get them simply from completing the battlefield, and not necessarily winning the lot. You also get 3 for D and VD battlefields.

Basically, all AAs (except TT) are all about having a PLD, 3 DD, either RNGs (safest bet) or DD/nins using utsusemi to stay alive, a bard or corsair, and a white mage or red mage healing.

The battlefields are rather cookie cutter - each AA can use multiple one-hour abilities, one in particular will be used many times.

Would you mind share your method with us? 15k sparks per hr is the most I can get from Abys. This would help a lot with my chapters too. Really appreciate it.

Not sure about abyssea, but you can set a few good ROEs up and do a circuit in Rala Waterways. Dark Crystals, Water Crystals, 2 ROEs for 2 sets of mobs, damage 500+... Basically, you can get tons of sparks just running a train (no pun) through there.

Kuftal Tunnel is also another nice place. Can set Fire Crystals, Water Crystals, Earth Crystals, damage 500+ and Kuftal Tunnel and train spiders, sabotenders, crabs, and lizards for easy sparks and kills. BLU whirl of rage, frypan, body slam all work nice. Can even use Blood saber to maintain HP. But kuftal is significantly less sparks per completion than Rala.
