When they did that change to the amount of exp to lvl once u pass 50 >.>, Of course i had already gotten to 75 -_-.

Remember when... EXP in kuftal tunnel, was the best place to xp, and that involved being ready to zone at any given time, because some other party pulled a link.. and you'd have to zone out so the train wouldn't kill ur party?

Remember when... you wouldn't get a DRG because its wyvern dmg was partially counted towards it as being a DD, but the wyvern would always die in the first 5min. and you'd be stuck with a wyvernless DRG for hr+55min..

I remember...when people made a big deal about races. Taru wars didnt get invites, elvaan mages didnt get invites. RDM wasnt the best job in the game. MPK RMT...i miss that. People charged up to 100k/hr to PL a party. People thought the teleport crystals were items you could use to tele to the crag if u got in trouble...then died trying to figure out how to use it. When people didnt know what the hell beast seals were used for. Almost everybody in the dunes (and most in qufim) had no subjob. 1 maybe 2 people on ur server had a relic weapon or close to being complete. Maat's cap meant you were God among FFXI players. People fighting over bees in giddeus and crawlers in Sarubaruta. People actually made money from crystals. Kirin was hard. ANY god was hard. Sky seemed like a different language. Not everybody and their grandmothers had a Hauby or a SH. AF was acceptable. Byrnie was acceptable. Gear wasnt everything (mainly due to price aka ptys wouldnt kick a sam for not using hauby)

When you were convinced that partying in Uleguerand Range was good and you had enough to go and kick a$$. When you get there someone mysteriously DCs or says they have to go and no one else will come out so the party just disbands.

then down the road SE made it Rare and sellable. :'(

Every thief knife farming used to be epic back when I was naive and didn't know about claim bots. I never got one but my heart broke when they made that update.

This made me cry... I was in an alliance of 9. Of 9, I was the only one that owned a Moongate Pass. Of 9, I was one of 3 that knew what it was and how to get it. And this was really sad... Of 9, 5 of them didn't have access to Sky.

Farming was actually worthwhile.

You would run through jungle, other pts mandies sleep would sleep anyone that werent even on the hate list.

BSTs would solo the bombs in Garlaige and Self-Destruct would wax whichever pt it was right next to..

EXPing in the tree where AQ pops, RMT used to raid the hell out of it because of the DCloth, and we would fight for mobs, and accidently claim AQ and wipe :x

Refers to a hypothetical situation where a mad sheep can choose a subjob, and has the choices of Shark, Elephant, or Butterfly. And despite the other job's advantages chooses butterfly.

Although the initial use of this term was strictly for WAR/WHM, the term can be generalized towards any job that uses a subjob that offers almost no uses, for example the less common WAR/RDM that has even less MP and later spells.
