All of which only apply to certain subsets of the population (mostly the non-contributors), whereas the USSR applied its policies to everyone except those with substantial political power.

How does taking social security out of everyone's pay check not apply to everyone?

I was referring to the beneficiaries. In a truly socialist system, we would ALL be collecting social security, have Medicare, etc. etc. What we have now is a social safety net: it resembles socialism in the same way that bottlenose dolphins resemble blue whales.

And ACA is a ridiculous mandate with some provisos that insist everyone should be able to pay for coverage. That's state-enforced capitalism.

State-enforced capitalism, lol. I'm gonna steal that term from you, that's good.

So no one has answered the question of Kim's uncle. Is he still alive?

Let Rodman ponder the question maybe?

What problem?

North Korea is doing just fine as Chinas buffer, South Korea's military far surpasses DPRK, South Korea and China both don't want a refugee crisis, the DPRK nuclear capabilities are overblown (missile range, number of warheads), economic warfare has crippled the Kim dynasty and so long as you're willing to sleep knowing human rights atrocities are going on there (we have no problem doing it w/Africa so...) things are looking about normal on the Korean front.

Seriously Kim Jong Un is overrated. I get they've got nukes but this country isn't half the threat the media makes it out to be. They've been politically hobbled and their fits of misbehaving to drum up international attention now includes Dennis Rodman. Just think about that for a good long moment.

Dennis Rodman is the DPRK's marketing strategy. Dennis Rodman.

Kim Jong Un doesn't even deserve to be called a problem. He's a geopolitical compromise.

That's probably the smartest analysis yet.
